Two day collection caper getting underway.

320D ditched near Kilmarnock station in a location where it being there when I get back will just be a bonus.

Awaiting the 19:53 service to Carlisle.

An absolutely beautiful evening here, yet Kilmarnock still managing to look like an utter cowp.

The Duster looks particularly handsome in that light. Definitely would.

Bon chance @davehedgehog31, it seems we're in the midst of something of a boon RE collection threads at present!

As a frontier town for over a millennium and a half, Carlisle is not just a military city, but it is the only city in Cumbria. It is in fact the most besieged place in the British Isles, having been besieged at least ten times. A siege is another way of explaining going somewhere then not wanting to go in when you get there. Carlisle holds the record for this and anyone that has gone there and went in, will understand why.

Thank you for listening to my Ted talk.

I've left Mr Hedgehog in a small hamlet in the home of one of my kids' classmates.

They aren't there, but he is, as is his next lift, and with any luck they'll be up at the crack of dawn for a hoot of a day.

Just wait.

I also took a slightly* scenic route.  Never green laned at night before!

I was kindly hosted by @Jimbob McGregorand he is being a top tier enabler by taking me further South this morning.

He is en route to nearly France to collect a spectacular taxidermy animal, but I'll leave that up to him to reveal.

I can't think of a car which is better suited to collecting dead animals from next to the English channel than a lifted 4x4 Panda.
