My uncle had one! Ok it was a MK3, but it was a red 3 door auto. He was paralysed from the waist down after being shot by a sniper in Northern Ireland in 1972, but somehow he managed to drive his auto Escort for 12,000 miles until he gave up driving in 1997 and gave it to his sister, who took it up to Cheshire and used it to commute from Hoylake to Liverpool every day. Sadly I don't think it's survived, B241 PDY are you out there?

That was up for sale on Glasgow gumtree for 295 quid but it was gone before I could get to it. It then re-appeared on Edinburgh gumtree for £800 and has been coming down in price almost daily. I recon 500 sounds pretty fair although the MOT is short.

Wooooof! That's something of a bargain at that price. Always had a soft spot for a shite brown VP, and the 'knitting needle in a bucket of marbles' box for extra fun! Love the Middlesbrough reg number, looks like it came from Dutton Forshaw, and still has it's original Serck plates.

Not a thing to dislike about that IMO!

This is a unused car, sitting on the drive way for a long time now, it only ever gets started up now and then to charge up the battery,before the buyer buys the car it will be MOT'd for the buyer.

It is in absoloute pristine condition , the inside is just like brand new beacuse it has never been used enough to become dirty. theres the odd few scratches which are hardley noticeable, the only one you can notice is on the driver side rear arch where theres abit of rust coming on but the paint is still intact withi it, so could do with abit of scrub down. Aprat from that it has ver low mileage, and drives beautiful. The only reason the car is for sale is because my dad does not like to drive manual. Therefore the price is really cheap. The main thing is we need it off the drive so make an offer and we might just accept, thats how desperate we are, we dont want the car to go to waste. any questions please phone me on: 07743344024,

The Allegro Could have a Real Value of £800, I have spoken to the Chap( was a bit like trying to speak to Tim the Speaking Clock) The Body is rusty but the Engine is sweet, Mini Men Usally Give £300-£400 for a 1275 A+Series ,Then the FAB Plate must be worth £300 ,£100 for bits off the Car and £150 over the wieghbridge,That is if it is compleatly gone,may be able to go back on the road, Do the sums with this one

Bloody hell, nice spot! That's only a flippin' sportline as well. (can just see the wing badges), and with decent looking leather and AMG Mono's. Don't care about the bonnet at that price (though it is about the worst SEC conversion I'v ever seen). That's worth over a grand in parts before you even think about flogging the engine or weighing the shell in! I'm still wanting to lob a 3.0 12V in the 190 one day...
