This looks bloody good VFM to me but natch those chrome arches are probably hiding bits of cornflakes boxes and chicken wire...

It's in London though so if you haven't got a translator to hand just mutter something about jellied eels and beating your wife up and you should get away with it.

That Daimler's gone already, four minutes after you posted.

This is still around though:

Starting at £300 with no bids so far. And it's in Neath, which I can see from my house if I use binoculars. On my watch list in case I decide I deserve a Christmas present

That Riva is pure 'shitter' . You need arms like a Russian shot putter to park the friggers too. Pre cat one so no electronic carb to go bonkers on you, and surprisingly rust free. Dunno what's going on with the indicators & back lights though. No amber on them at all for the indicators.

Posted

Shit Russian plastic fabrication. The rear lamps on my pre-Riva Lada estate went like that too.

Posted

What's shit about it? Clear lenses are much nicer. It's the only car that appears to give itself a facelift after a few years! Amber bulbs FTW.

I love the look of that Riva. I like the price rather less.

If I got my son that Lada and he didn't want it he wouldn't have to threaten to leave home, he'd be half way up the path with a size 12 boot up his jacksie.

re the tool with The Fall Guy truck, who wants to tell him the axle braces are missing and at 1:23 in his accompanying vid it's clearly a model?

Yours, bitter at thought Heather Thomas is prolly bit old now....... :(

EDIT: Happy to say she is still quite fruity! :D

That Stigma, complete with shitty advert and a single 3-year-old photo, may well receive no bids. In which case it'd be an excellent buy at just above scrap value (assuming it doesn't need serious work).

There's a reasonable chance that came from the very same dealer that supplied my Mk3 SRi (New Crown in Nottingham)... hmmm...

Peterborough is awfully far away though, but at the same time I've always really fancied a Mk2 saloon... fuck it, does anyone want to buy a Mk3 1.8i Classic with about 8 months MOT?!

Posted

Its a 'Y reg' too. Now where is John Shuttleworth when you want him?

The photos are from ACA (apart from the one on the driveway). It sold http://www.angliacarauctions.co.uk/clas ... -2011.aspx in the November sale to a chap from March who also used the " bought this for my son" excuse when advertising it.

Sounds like an illegal motor trader then if he is doing that! Report to ebay perhaps?

Paging Craig the Princess! This sound looking 1 owner Ambo seems to have been for sale forever. £250 ono sounds very reasonable and it definitely needs saving.

Silver Ambassador

Oh, in Norwich as well. Now Mrs the Princess did say 2 Ambassadors was enough, but... she still thinks that :(

Looking at that Laurel, it prompted me with the link to this equally minty-but-salty Prairie. Check out its fellow exhibits  - a museum with a Maestro van, a Pug 304 and what's that beige thing behind the Moggy van? That's class, that is.

Wow, that Prairie has almost as crazy a coloured interior as my Corolla, Mines more 'very cold Zebra'

Now that's a GILF.....

This however is CILTCUWAC (Car I'd like to cut up with a chainsaw)

Billed as a GT40 lookalike. Sorry, even if i squint i don't see that.

In all honesty, it's not bad looking, but it's nothing like a GT40. £1000 no bids.

PREVIOUS OWNER BEGAN WORK ON THE CAR BUT LOST HEART.

Prairie is out of The Patrick Collection, previous stablemate of a rather famous Tagora.
