Volvo is mighty wantable.

440 was the single most impressive car I've owned.

I think a beige one seven NA 460 Auto is pretty high up the list of shit shite.

The rear arches on that Cortina look like a MAJOR LEAGUE wobfest, specially the drivers side, I wouldnt lose any sleep over it Triggington

I think your right, It also seems to have dipped it's belly in a big pot of black tar at some point as well.

The only Royal(e) that I like....apart from Fergie, I reckon she's a dirty bitch.

Not sure about the stereo in that Lancia but I have the very same Audioline graphic equaliser in a draw somewhere.Maybe I should stick some tacky stripes on my car wire up the equaliser and call it "the hi-fi Maestro"

^^

it is soild underneath

Ah, quite.

Where the onions a factory option, do you think?

Posted

No, they're just in the photo as a euphamism for the way that rust can form in a many-layered fashion, rendering old barges unroadworthy in a short space of time.

Posted

.....but leave them in a dark shed and they will flower in the spring :D

Beta HI-FI, I've never heard of this special before, I'm guessing that these came with some supa dupa stereo?

I'm guessing it's reference to the volume of what most of the body now consists of.

I like the way that the paint on the bumpers doesn't quite match the paint on the body

It's in 'Chesire' wherever that is. Probably not a million miles from me as it 'appens. Buy it, pay for the fuel and I'll wheelspin it all the way to your house for a bacon and (runny) egg butty (on toast), 20 L&B and my BFH.

Or stop off in Costa Del RetroAndBollox, buy this and then go for the Manta...

Ooh! I had one of those B120's, Grand truck it was, despite endless abuse towing a trailer up and down the gorge road in the Ardeche. Only ever seen a B120 Minibus over here.

I hope someone more local can save it!

When did the Fiesta come out in the UK? I thought it was 1976 but I have a April 1977 Ford broucure here in front of me and that doesn't cover the Fiesta range yet, It only has this small piece.

Bloody hell, I'm gettingTrigeminal Neuralgia just thinking about that Fiesta. If I hadn't bought the sodding Shitroen of battering ramness I'd be all over that, it's damned good money, looks absolutely ace and isn't far away either.

Have a (potentially) cheap 306 dizzlebang whilst I sob uncontrollably about the Fiesta...

If Wikipedia is to be believed, UK sales started in January 1977. Can't remember the last time I saw a 1970s Fezza.

The guy whose Dolomite I welded up has the receipt for his Grandmother's Mk1 Fiesta dated sometime in January 1977. He does not have the car, unfortunately!

Triggs that Fiesta has your name all over it man! It's well within your budget, they cost pennies to run, are as complex as a knife & fork, and with the cash you have left in your budget, you can get it looking minty fresh
