That's amazing!

It looks like something out of In The Night Garden.

WAS ORIGINALLY A MOBILE DENTAL UNIT WITH STAFFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL, BUT WAS CONVERTED FOR LIVING USE WITH A SOLID FUEL STOVE ETC. SINCE THEN MOST OF THE INTERNAL FITINGS HAVE BEEN REMOVED AND IT HAS BEEN USED FOR THE LAST 20 YEARS MAINLY AS A TACKROOM.

That would make an epic retro caravan. You'd need a truck or summert to tow it though.

I sent the seller a message about this just asking if they would go as low as £2500, I was surprised to get this message back, It didn't seem like a scam advert.

Hello Mike,

The Ford Cortina MK3 I'm selling is mechanically sound, no damage, no engine problems and there are no outstanding issues or third parties involved. The selling price is £2700, including delivery anywhere in the U.K. The only reason for the low price is that I need cash for a family emergency.

I have to tell you that I'm currently out of town with some major business problems so pick up/view isn't an option. Sorry about that. Hope you will understand. However, before any delivery can be done I want to be sure that we do this transaction in the safest mode possible for both of us. I recommend we do the transaction using eBay because they offer the highest rate of safety and reliability during online transactions.

eBay will act as a third party between us to create confidence; you will also have access to a refund policy on this transaction, no obligation to buy and no fees involved if you won't accept the transaction's terms.

If you want to buy this bike :?: email me back with your full name and address for delivery to start the official procedure on eBay. Once the requested details will be provided, eBay will contact you with all the info regarding delivery, purchase protection and refund policy so please provide your details before any other questions.

Also, if you want more pictures, please let me know and I will email them to you.

Will wait to hear from you.

Thank you,

A.D. Brown

Just looking, this is the email address, something strange about that as well. [email protected] on behalf of A.D. Brown ([email protected])

Definitely a scam. They'll send a link to your email address from "ebay" that will send you to a spoof ebay site set up for Phishing.

It's a strange one for a scam though, I emailed the proper email address back with this message: "Hello, was it you who sent me this email below or have you been scammed? It's just that the email is [email protected] on behalf of A.D. Brown ([email protected])."

I expected it to be ignored by he has replied.

Both are my e-mail addresses, i use a forwarding system of zoho e-mail, more efficient than google.

Will wait to hear from you.

Thank you,

A.D. Brown

Time to buy a £10 phone from the supermarket and get him to phone you on it - if it turns out to be dodgy then he hasn't got your normal phone number.

Got a thing for Japanese engined, plastic lined, torque free, suspensionless Brit "Luxury"? How's about this? Just under 20k miles from new (I wouldn't want to spend any time in it either), currently at £800 with four hours to go. No reserve, understandably.

Should really be in the "Bargains" thread at that money, but hey, this is Autoshite in all its grey two tone, stinking of Jap pensioner piss, glory.

On my way to see my friends

who lived a couple blocks away from me (owh)

As I walked through the subway

it must have been about quarter past three

In front of me

stood a Germanic bint with a shiny body

She asked me for a bid

I said it'd cost her her username

a six digit number & a date with me tomorrow at nine

I met this car on Monday

took her for a drink on Tuesday

we were making miles by Wednesday

and on Thursday the bastard wouldn't start

so I took it out Friday & Saturday, we chilled on Sunday

If it still has it's VIN plate someone will find a home for it, especially at less that the cost of 12 months tax for, say, a post '73 Mini

As it is a left hooker would the speedo be kph and the mileage actually kilometres (ie considerably less)?

Good point Mr DS.

It's irrelevant really, because you just know that you'll be remortgaging your house by next Easter whether it's 190k in miles, kilometres or metres!!

Hmmm....Anyone want a Volvo?

There was one of those Kappas for sale over on RR a while back. Nobody wanted it and it got tin-canned! I definitely WOULD if it wasn't for my goldfish needing urgent medical bills paying e.t.c.
