Now this seems a bit of a bargain to me, £2250 BIN and it looks lovely, pretty colour as well, Imagine how much it would be if it was a Cortina?. Shame it's so far away in bloody Mid Wales!

I've been watching this, due to someone bidding on it the BIN price vanished, It ended up selling for £3200!, I bet the owner was chuffed with that!

He's chattin' shit about the front bumper and skirts being RS Cosworth ones though, they're the nasty RS 'accessories' jobs, and must be shunned.

Shame the body is knackered on it. If there's that much rot on top I'd hate to have a look around the trailing arm mounts...

I reckon you should buy it and shove all the mechanicals into a dangly-mirror 3-door.

I noticed that, human nature to want to nick everything as cheap as possible and not recognise a good deal when we see one!

Id love one of these, my parents friends had one new back in 89 on a G plate, in white. It was a 2.9i Ghia 'X' 4x4, they bought it to tow their massive caravan. And as far as i was concerned at the age of 7 it was the most amazing car ever. Shame i cant remember the numberplate completely, it was G*** JDW. What a machine! I saw them a few years ago, and asked about the Sierra, they had only a year previously traded it in for something else.

£1550 or best offer doesn't sound too extreme for this tidy 35k Prelude.

Wow, that Prelude is lush, I would love that. I kind of like the steelies on it actually and being the lower spec one it won't have all the complicated crap that my Accord Executive had that will cause untold headaches in years to come!!

MOO 229R was in any case just a doctored plate; the same production company made the New Avengers, giving John Steed a yellow SD1; MOC 229P. Notice he's not selling the plate. I wonder how many yellow SD1 shells he has salted away?

Posted

MOO is a real plate though, it comes up as a 1979 Rover 3500 SD on cartell.ie and DVLA.

My obsession with old camperz continues. This one looks Proper.

I've just put that Lincoln on my watch list. 5 days left and already over a grand, for a project car? Somebody can see something there I can't, and not many people love these old barges more than I do!

Possibly be going round an oval, a lot of the lads like big, rare cars. That's not knocking racers before another pointless e-wars starts by the way.

Is it a salatch or a hatchoon? Who cares, it's a funky as hell. Get it bought me old tater, you'll be king on here!

Christ that's bad. Also reckon it'd have gone with nano seconds if it hadn't been for 'i dont have any id for it as the old guy wanted to keep it'.

Hey! My favourite obscure '90s Japanese car. And at £475 BIN I think this is one case where 'what could possibly go wrong?' can be written without irony.

Great door handles!
