Angrydicky
Apparently the seller thought this might achieve a good price in the US. It was originally listed on ebay.com with the title 'Old, well used Trojan'. It didn't get much interest. 198CC DIESEL I HAVE BEEN TOLD ITS A 3 CILYINDER PERKINS ENGINENow that is spectacularly miserable. I'd do the bare minimum to get an MOT on it, then drive it around just like that. GR8 4 POSH CAR SHOWZ

RedSparrow
Frig, if a Deer did that much damage, imagine what a solid object would do.I believe they stopped selling these for that very reason - shit score on Euro NCAP. face
Had a test drive on a 1600GL Astra MK1 about three years ago and it went very well........and it was beige. It was pushing a grand though, and although solid enough it needed plenty of tidying up. If it was a 1.6SR then I'd have had it in a flash

seth
That was an incredible bargain for someone. I hope it has gone to a good home. Goes to show that "genuine" classics are still available cheaply - obviously some luck involved but some would say that kind of thing simply doesn't happen anymore. Can you imagine what the phone would have been doing if it was a Mk1 Escort though!
