Ebay Tat Volume 2 - Sadly deceased.

This 'rare project' Suzuki SC100 has been relisted on ebay three times, only this time they've put pics:

They're -completely- rotten, it's parked up in what looks like 12th level to hell (the one with loads of bits of boulders, old washing machine 'scrap metal', those strange weeds you get from severe neglect, and travellers), and there's a big pile of horse crap on the windscreen:

Comes complete with interior. And traffic cone. And piece of polystyrene (scrap):

Ok the Donor, its is very very rotten but its complete.

They're both rotten!!!

Silver car does have some rust and will need some welding however is viable, and shows no sign of previous Bodges.

:lol::lol: Classic.

replacing the front leaf spring every month when it snaps

??? never seen one break ever, and had loads of saloons and vans ... :D

Transverse leaf, which managed to prop up a 455 cu in Buick lump in a rodded Ford Pop I had. I never heard of one breaking.....

1966 Volvo Amazon 122S

Poor Amazon, The reserve is £500 but needs welding for test.

What worries me about this is Amazons tend to hide chronic rust and abuse rather well. Mine looked worse than that, but it still passed MOTs. They may be made of thick steel, but by christ do they know how to rot

What the hell is this one like underneath? I'm willing to bet the inner rear arches are utterly pagged. Also, the bubbling at the rear surround will mean the rear screen is leaking. Badly. And that is mega bad news because mine needed reconstructing there. To the tune of about £300 extra on top of the [massive] bill. Leaking screens are one of the things that condemn Amazons. That's why I am not looking forward to the day the front of mine gets done.

He has a Simons 2" system on there. They're mild steel. Also, reports of Tony Barrett \ Braydon vary from very good to utterly dire. I know several of my Volvo acquaintances are not fans. He made fair coin 10-15 years ago doing B20 converstions on earlier B18 cars.

He may have a spare bootlid, but they were hand fettled at the factory to get them to fit. What this means is that each 'lid was slightly different and unique to each car. Get another lid and it won't seal up without a lot of PITA fiddling and the shutlines will be on the cock. And then it will leak.

Sills aren't too expensive though. Wings are very very very costly though. It's a shame because it has the aura of a car that was once really nice. Not a stock colour (OMG) but suits it well.

Might be worth it for the engine and box if I didn't already know a bloke in Walsall who has 20 of them on pallets ready to go for 50-100 knackers depending on how much of them you want.

Sorry, I could bore for my country about 120s. Moving on.....

True, but they do have a 204 estate, so they can't be all bad.

Hello, is that the ebay bargains thread? Sorry couldn't see it for looking, so I'll post it here instead.

Please note that this car is sold as seen and would have to be picked up on a trailer as it is not road worthy.

I'd like to bid on that, turn up and tell them I'm not having it as they've described it as being black.

I'd love to turn up with a tomtom, insurance form, sign the V5, ask for the keys and then attempt to start it to drive home - "Has it got petrol in it?"

That SWB has been living on ebay for at least a year. It's not a 69/70. I think he means Granada Studios......

Engine looks a bit lost in that engine bay!

Ditto - I had an HA saloon as my semi-daily for about 18 months, ragged the crap out of it and never had any suspension issues at all.

I had one, front leaf snapped after 4 days of ownership, me and a mate replaced it, snapped about 30 days later, thought it might be the way we did the job, sent it to a garage, 2 months later...snap...so me and a mate did the 3rd change, 3 weeks or so later...snap...got bored...swapped it for a bluebird...never want one again

Wonder if this is deliberate, to avoid showing the full effect of this repaint done to 'not a good standard'?

Bog standard, and on the subject of bogs, if I may, check out the interior of this poor old thing:

I think its a Coventry climax engine

Not quite!

Possibly from Coventry though. Standard Triumph?

Yes. Herald 1200 is my guess. Looks like it might be all Herald under the skin.

I had a 305 SR estate that caused me no end of grief! Rather than weigh it in I dropped it off at the local fire station so it could suffer first.
