Quite bizzare how all of us on here who had mouth ache had an abcess. My dentist is a moody bugger too, but on the other hand I suppose smelling bad breath all day rubs you up the wrong way. Still, makes it even less appealing to go when you just know they are going to shout about something.

Fucking Neighbours! Not the cheesey Aussie soap, containing some milf and bint, but the ones who live near me.Yesterday, Mr Rudefatbastard opposite (so called because I've lived here 11 years, and to start with did the old "good morning" stuff and all that to get blanked in return, so now I can't be arsed, there are other issues too) his car Rover 75 V6 on 02 plate broke down, so the AA were called. Aa bloke fiddled about for ages, then towed it off his drive, and onto the road. I went out to my van, parked on the verge to hear him say to the AA van man to "leave it where it was" - across my driveway. AA man, in his defence, said something about blocking drives, to which he replied "I don't care, it's easier to leave it there". Thanks. Not only have you and your stupid fucked car blocked the road for the last 10 minutes, you're now stopping me from getting out of my drive. AA man then took another 15 minutes to hook the Rover up to his towbar thing, while Mr Shit stood there. I made a big point of getting my car off the drive in 5 attempts, while Mr AA apologised, while Mr twatty just blanked me. Again. And this morning, not needing to be at work till 10 this am, I set my alarm for 8.30. I fully expected to be woken up by the binmen at about 7.30, not a problem. But no, Mr Twat's next door neighbour has come home from wherever, and starts unloading, with his gobby mate, paving slabs out of the back of a van. At 6.30am!!Next weekend, the wife will be supplied with earplugs, both next door neighbours are away, I'm going to borrow my brothers 3.1 capri, with single box Janspeed, and do a bit of tuning/redexing at 6.00am Sunday morning....

i had a similar neighbour who had 2 cars and rather than use his own drive thought nothing of blocking my drive with his 2nd car  just having bought the house i thought they were seeing how far they could push me, so i got a 7.5ton truck and 2 transit lutons from work..parked them the full length of both houses and went away for the weekend  the strange thing was that the "parking wars" ended that very weekend :D

You get fake charity bags through the door? How can you tell?

We get a few of them. I think they do have to mention it in very small print.Normally they are called something like 'Clothing for Somalia' or somesuch twattery. What they should be called is 'YougiveusyouroldclothingthinkingitsforcharitybutitsnotreallyandwesellittoSomaliaatavastprofitK.Thx.Bai' as they gather it all up and reselll it. Often rented a van to a bloke from Bury who did it a few years back, reckoned it was not a bad paying activity

Where do you get paving slabs from at that time of the day? :P

They look a bit secondhand tbh, probably whipped off some poor fuckers front garden in the middle of the night....

Read the small print "we pay 50p per tonne of clothing collected, to the charity whose logo we have printed on the bag. We use this logo to make you think all the money goes directly to them."Cunts.

There is a downside....church bells ringing 8am Sunday morning. Again at 6pm.Then again at 8pm Monday nights. I wouldn't mind but they play the same boring tune.......sort of "ding ding dong....DONG" . They could at least try a little Kylie medley or something.......

+1.Shouting 'SHUT THE FUCK UP' at 8.00am on a Sunday with a clanging headache makes no odds either.I don't mind if people want to bother God but they could at least do it quietly.

Just tried to get to sleep, and lo and behold, I get a panic attack. That was bloody horrible.

Going back a page or two still one of my grumps was re. messing up chatting up a girl that I messed up. I have just found out she's 24. I'm 38. I feel somewhat uncomfortable.

Thats exactly what I wanted to hear. I shall therefore pursue this further.

That's nothing to be worried about. I'm 10 years older than my wife, we've just celebrated our 21st wedding anniversary. She's 39, I'm 49 and we have 5 kids aged 8 - 18!It's really good to have someone younger around you, makes you feel more comfortable about the onset of old age!

My last proper GF was 10 years older than me (still is, I supopose) and it caused no problems. I am a bit of a grumpy old man though. Go for it dude. you've got a bloody Maxi FFS, how can she not be impressed?Anyway, you wouldn't want to go sniffing around some 40 year old bird would you??

There was a 20 year gap between my dad and my mum and they had 40 years together before he died.

I find the church bells opposite our house quite pleasant. On a nice summers day you can look at the church, squint and pretend your in a picture postcard English village (granted, you do have to squint alot). I couldn't really complain anyway, as the church was built in 1800 odd and I moved in 5 years ago.Hey Sceptre, the age difference is quite sizable but nothing to worry about. One bonus is her mum probably wont be that much older than you and you can crack onto her if things go wrong with the daughter.

Personally, I'd feel somewhat "well chuffed".

Too right! I'd be well happy if a 24 year old was after me when i'm your age, question is have you got the stamina for her?!...

I'm sure that'll endear him to the dad even more! "You're as old as the woman you feel" or something like that.

Bloody good point. Young man's car.

I was watching TVAM this morning where they was interviewing a mother and daughter, both of them were hot, that gave me improper thoughts as well. :P

Trig, have you got some kind of time-travel telly? Who was interviewing them? Frank Bough??

I'm currently getting those again, proper no-reason panic attacks. I haven't had one for years, and now going to sleep is giving me the fear, because that's when mine happen (when my brain is switching off).
