Yep, this. I tweeted my annoyance earlier and Virgin Media were straight onto me offering me a TV box. Clever guys, shame you fucked me over when I was a mobile customer and I do have a long memory.

 

Anyone know if BT TV works properly?

H7 bulbs in the attic workshop mancave. Walked bollock naked out of the bath, up the stairs to turn the PC on and stood on the bulb that I was using last night to flatten some batteries for testing.

A friend of mine (19 stone tighthead prop) jumped off the top bunk once onto a upward facing 13a plug ! Couldn't play rugby that weekend that's for sure

As with above sky grump. I had a new air products rep call unannounced today. Trying to win back our business.

 

They've overcharged us by tens of thousands over the last twenty years ( according to boc prices), ignored our calls and complaints and told us they can't supply the helium we need.

 

So we went to BOC. First year has saved us about £3500. Now new air products guy seems astounded we refuse to let him through the door to quote us.

Unless the new boxes are upgraded you have to actually plug it in with a cable, or use plug in transceivers to get the broadband signal to the box. I only had it as it was cheaper to subscribe for 12 months than buy a freeview+ recorder. Sorry not very helpful, but probably not that good as I couldn't be bothered to connect it up!

It has the potential to work (it did in my old house but doesn't work in this one) I have now gone for a freesat set up which gives a reasonable amount of channels, mostly rubbish admittedly.

Suzuki bike parts are ridiculous - I had to order up a washer for a clutch basket recently that cost me a tenner. FOR A WASHER! Same bike (800 intruder) has a spin on oil filter, £12.50. I declined and bought one from the motor factors (because same as a vitara one) for £2.

 

How about £120 for a fucking speedo cable for a 400 Burgman? Never owned a Suzuki since, and I doubt I ever will again.

You're an artist, aren't you? Can you wring out your anger at events on paper or canvas and sell them instead? I found when writing essays for my OU degree that if there was something about the subject that really FUCKED ME OFF then getting it on paper/Word document allowed the body of the essay to flow.

I have no idea what anyone is going on about, no idea what has happened. Been asleep all day, pain and suffering in Torquay kept me busy. But, I NEVER watch the news and haven't read a news paper in a decade. They are both full of lies and sensationalism and I used to spend my days with a purple tinge to my face as I was so annoyed. I work on the theory/assumption that if it affects me, I'll find out soon enough.

 

There is no point in getting stressed about it, you are NOT going to change what politicians want to do. You may delay it a bit before it re-appears in a slightly diferent format, or slightly different words used to disguise what they are up to. Hell, look at the way that things are added to other 'motion's so they pass without proper debate. Politicians are liars, cheats and disgusting individuals and worthy of only contempt. I once met our lovely conservative MP who was driving an aged Lambo Espada which is my dream car - he was in a fuel station so I went over, and he was a twat of the first order, so I asked where he got his MOTs from as the huge hole in the sill wouldn't pass anywhere I knew.
