I like driving within about 40 miles to pick stuff up, gets me out the house and veg oil isn't expensive, plus I usually find something else to collect in that area.

My nan lives in walking distance, but as she wanted a new light putting up in the lounge, and prior investigation warned that joist noggin needed fixing above the lamp, I took the car with tools and timber. Light swapped, light worked, job done. Then I washed my faithful E39 that stops the neighbours kids using her drive as a skate park, again job done success. Then I reversed out and destroyed my front tyre.... New one arrives tommorow @£125...

Aarrgghh, you just reminded me, I did that at Christmas.

Customers car wouldn't start, he'd flooded it and flattened battery.

Popped by, jump leads, foot to the floor and brum brum, wouldn't take any money off him.

Reversed out of his drive and ripped the side out of my Range Rover tyre, didn't have a spare and my mobile battery was flat, walked 3 miles back to work, nicked a wheel off something else, charged phone, got a lift etc

Afternoon wasted and £100 for a tyre

Fucknuts! Just found out that the lock up I keep the Imp in is getting demolished. On top of this the house where the Visa is kept is up for sale and is likely to sell shortly and there are already 4 cars at the house and the garage is full.

Fuckety fuck, shitty shit shit fuck.

I have just been having a tidy up and decided to put some old clothes in the local clothing bank. Upon arrival it was stated that all clothing must be in carrier bags. Carrier bags cost 5 pence each so they can FRO.

I hate seeing petrol more expensive than diesel.

when i dumped a load of (expensive) clothes that no longer fitted me, they were in some of them chariteeee bags that came though the letterbox.

the fact that i was dumping 5 bags full of stuff from per una, monsoon and next that i'd not worn much (it was alot of work suits and the like) also made up for the clothes been dumped at once.

most of the chariteeee bags i get end up inside the pedal bin.

i got sick of seeing all the clothes what i've got too fat for lying around so i had myself a proper purge over Christmas.

i found it quiet therapeutic too.

i hate doing upgrades at night. So much to go wrong and it can really spoil your evening/whole week.

This one is for Russian customers too so because of their time difference they'll be in nice and early to point out any fuck ups.

One of the teachers at the kids school reversed into Mrs S's Alfa just before Christmas. Came and found her, owned up and offered to pay for damage. The o/s/r door was creased and needed replacing, so I offered to find a second hand one and fit it, to keep it away from insurance. Found a door this weekend whilst I was getting the top mount to replace the one with the seized bolt. Got it home, went to see teach at school run time, and she was dead pleased. Offered me money to fit it, but I said no. It's no bother. So. Why the grump? It's all going well, isn't it?

No.

Got the door out of the French rocket today, and noticed that it's solid black, and the car is metallic. It's my fault for not noticing, as I asked for that specific door.

Bastard. Thought it was too good to be true.

Anyone want a solid black 147 door?

After fucking about with changed dates the jab(s) got cancelled 2 days before being done, they discharged me back to the GP and the whole fucking, shitting thing has to start again. Fuck off private hospitals doing NHS work. Just fuck right off.

Pre-christmas MRI shows more degeneration in the spine and  the spine and I have been referred to another hospital for a surgical consultation (again).

The fucking Naproxen I was taking caused gastro problems and I had to stop taking it and now all the fucking pain and stiffness has returned with a vengeance.

Thank you for asking though.

I just picked up my OH's Tucson after getting a garage to change the clutch. However here's the grump driving it home I noticed the gear level is really far back. So 1,3 and 5 are where neutral used to be, neutral is where 2, 4 and R used to be and 2, 4 And R are now so far back the level almost hits the surround. The garage had lots of problems with seized bolts so the job took 11 hours, they were really good though and only charged me an extra hours labour. I don't want to be that 'annoying customer' and go back and moan so I'd rather just sort it myself but from looking at the manual it doesn't look like the cable mech has any adjustment in it. Does anyone know what might be wrong with it?

In her defence, it was well after school finishing time, and Mrs S was there helping to set up for the Christmas fair the following day.

If its any help, ask for Omeprazole, they protect your stomach and I am on them whenever I use naproxen. I had spinal injections 18months ago and it was fifteen minutes of hell but made an unbelievable difference and I have had no problems in that area since. Just all the other bits that are hassle......

Sorry to hear that Ken. Going round in circles is bad enough, never mind the agony.

I find buying another car helps. Though I think it may cause other agony.

'Kin properly fed up now, chippy in Spondon that was family run for years was taken over by a chain a few months ago and has gone downhill since. Bad enough on its own but than I get food poisoning from a dodgy burger on Saturday and have spent 72 hours needing to be within twenty feet of a bog and feeling crap (including Sunday which was my birthday). Doc wants a 'sample', bloody great now I have to squat on a 'kin jam jar ffs. Shit week in more ways than one. And where are the back to back wheeler dealer and top gear repeats when you truly need them?

It's now got to the point that my pebble dashing of the bog has reached the attention of the local council who,say I need planning permission as its not in keeping with the neighbourhood (would be in Coventry).

If you can't trust a burger bought from a lass you have never met, with a vaguely foreign accent in a grubby top what can you trust in the world? I despair.
