You've got to get LS out of there asap mate.

Good luck with the job search, I am sure something will turn up soon enough.

That prelude is gorgeous. Also LS, France is great, I'd rather be without a job over there than putting up with selfish Tapout shirt wearing pricks in the UK.

What does Adblue do?

Hey, LS, my employer is after a night time office planner, 6pm till 6am £25k but its in Stoke.

Posted

Adblue is sprayed into the exhaust on buses and lorries and reduces Carbon monoxide, turning it into endanged polar bears, or something.

Posted

Am I right in thinking that pig piss is the main ingredient in both Adblue and those pheromone sprays they used to advertise in the 80s?

Posted

The rumour was that it was pig piss, but apparently its not. Its synthetic piss or sonething. I think its basically ammonia.

Posted

My son is always going on about the piss they are fitting to the diesel RRs, seems bloody odd to me.

Just been told that a friends dog bit another friends dog on Thursday, just after I left, and the poor little bugger is on life support in Bristol animal hospital. I won't go into details but it sound horrific. Poor little sod is only 5 months old and the tiniest puppy you have ever seen.

I feel truly sick at the thought and so sorry for the two women involved.

I haz gone mental, but not in a good way. The slightest thing is causing panic attacks. As I'm dealing with ebay fucktards on a very regular basis anxiety levels are thru the roof most days.

On the bright side the extra shitting has caused a 4 kilo weight loss.

Panic attacks? Really? Been there, came through it though....

I've been here before, 9 years ago when the last job went tits up. So being unable to do normal jobs is probably the trigger.

Caffeine and energy drinks turned out to be partly to blame in my case.... Used it/them to get me through the day. But at a price. Panic.

Thanks for the compliment! Have no idea about Adblue though.... Soz.

Went for a walk around the local boot sale this morning, needed the loo which are normally kept fairly clean and tidy.

Some subhuman had smeared shit all around the bog seat, cistern & door and left a trail of shitty footprints out of the door.

Tablets. Specifically the Samsung Tab 2. What a useless pile of crap.

Useless, clunky interfaces, a keyboard that can't keep up with your keystrokes and appallingly slow internet performance even with a fast connection.
I got it as a Christmas present a couple of years ago and was reminded in no uncertain terms why I barely ever use it.

It very nearly got hurled at the wall this afternoon. I was using it as a last resort when my PC keeled over, my netbook wouldn't boot and my phone's battery wasn't charging. It very nearly knackered up a very important piece of sideline work I've been chipping away at.

Feels ungrateful to flog it but it really doesn't do anything for me. Will check the values on eBay and see if I can get rid.

I really dont understand this whole turd terrorism thing... I was caught short needing a whizz last time I was in the supermarket so went to the customer bogs to find shit smeared absolutely everywhere, walls, floor, tap handles, door handle.... There has to be something fundamentally wrong with their brain to think this is ok behaviour.

And its not always the kind of person you would expect. I remember when I worked at Halfords years back, we didnt have customer bogs but if someone asked and didnt look like too much of a scummer, we would let them use the staff toilets, which were kept in a nice clean condition. It was policy to escort them through the warehouse to the bogs and wait for them to finish and escort them back to the shop floor. I remember taking a posh looking lady through to use the bog and led her out again when she was finished. One of the staff members went in after her and found that she had shat in the sink and used her hands to smear it all up the wall and over the mirror, then left the hot tap running, pouring boiling hot water over this turd which created the most fucking unholy stench imaginable. Thats some kind of fucking mental illness or something.

Dugong, check Cex's prices on Samsung tablets, they usually give you close to eBay but you just hand it over and get cash without the threat of dealing with mongs, or paypal chargebacks, or posting it. Last time I sold a phone I just took it there, took 'em half an hour to check it over and I had cash in my hand - £180 instead of the ~£200 posted on ebay.

Also, Samsung tablets are toss. They're OK for a few months and then the extra software they load on just weighs it down and it grinds to a halt. My 2012 Nexus 7 is fine, but my 2014 Samsung is already feeling a bit rubbish. I only bought it as it was an ex-demo, £429 down to £34 because the store were too busy to remove the demo software. I wouldn't have paid much more for it.

Adblue is indeed Urea. My Peugeot has a UREA light that illuminates when the tank is empty. I have yet to find out whether I can just whip my todger out at the roadside and refill it if this happens.

I have a 2 year old tab 2 10" thingy and it was driving me mad as it was getting slower and more laggy every day, I was going to buy a new tablet but I installed the latest cyanogen mod onto it and its like a new tablet, very fast, no lag, no annoying Samsung bloatware, just pure android kitkat, its great, well worth a try before you launch it at the wall.

Like the CEX tip, URGH at the urea comments (although it fills a gap in my knowledge that was otherwise absent).

Another thumbs up for CEX. I sold them an iPhone after my contract finished and it was a really easy transaction. They usually offer a bit more as a store credit if you spot something you fancy too.

Its fuckin expensive, that's what it is!

Just sold a set of staggered appliance wheels on ebay. Grump because they went for a third of the price of other recent sets and because despite it saying cash on collection the winner has asked if i'll wrap them for a courier.........

The answer's NO, then...

Watching the news channel. There's apparently a new "app" for mobile phone addicts where you can stand outside a clothes shop and order something the shop has in stock online and have it delivered.

You're at the fucking shop.

What is wrong with people these days that interacting withn another human being is always seen as the least desirable option?

I think it says more of the quality of the people you are likely to have to interact with than anything else. All you need to do is look at all the posts on here about pretty much everything anyone does that involves them dealing with other people.
