EssDeeWon Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 A few of these cheeky chappies were camped near my place of work for one night and the mess they left behind looks like the equivalent of three wheelie bins full of rubbish strewn across the car park. Life on the open road and all that, eh? It wasn't them, defiantly NOT them! They stayed there for the night then after they left someone came along and dumped lots of rubbish.
fordperv Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 Pikeys have set up on old railway sidings in my nearest town. They have 4 or 5 of those big Intex free standing swimming pools set up!At least you know they are bathing then
Mr_Bo11ox Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 Why do I keep buying cheap chocolate from Aldi/Lidl. It tastes like shite every flippin time for gods sake. EssDeeWon, Tam, mercrocker and 2 others 5
vulgalour Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 It is one of the few things that aren't so good from there. Tam 1
dollywobbler Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 You probably have already... Aye. First thing I did. Added two-stage security too, and even had a bit of an address book clearout. Stable door I know, but it's done. Pretty sure Malwarebytes actually found executable files, not just bothersome cookies. I've just ditched Avast as I was fed up of the endless "UPGRADE" messages. Perhaps that was a bad idea.
J-Rod Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 Why do I keep buying cheap chocolate from Aldi/Lidl. It tastes like shite every flippin time for gods sake.Cos it's by the door... and they entice you in with sweets... how very cunning.  With all the flapping about Tesco's deciding to stop selling Ribena cos, it's like, you know... bad? For You? No-one seems to have made mention of the supermarket version of the paedophile from those 70's 'Stranger/Danger' ads.  "Come shop in here, I'll give you a sweet...""Sorry, my mum said... er... something about... oooh look, it's so much cheaper than everywhere else...maybe not ASDA but anyway, LOOK AT ALL THE MEAT. I can be be fat AND diabetic! Fill me the fuck up!"
Doctormop Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 Have to tentatively disagree on the lower end chocolate statements, I'm munching my way through these Aldi sourced items and finding them most acceptable myglaren 1
Richard Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 Chocolate Pringles. Has the world gone mad? RayMK, nebuchenezer, michael1703 and 1 other 4
vulgalour Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 WTF is a 'pet bond' and why is it £200? That means before fees, it's £900 to start the tenancy BEFORE the first month's rent goes out.  Additionally, why is a 'terrier sized dog' seen as less destructive than our German Shepherd?  Why do I also need to fork out to get all the carpets in the house professionally cleaned at the end of the tenancy? Estate agents in making it the fuck up as they go the fuck along, SHOCK.
Pillock Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 Aye. First thing I did. Added two-stage security too, and even had a bit of an address book clearout. Stable door I know, but it's done. Perhaps that was a bad idea.Big thumbs up for Two Factor Auth. I use Google for most stuff (mail, storage, photos etc) plus Microsoft for an OS, I also use Lastpass for password generation and storage and dropbox for more cloud storage. All these have TFA, at work when I'm training tech I'll sometimes give out the password for my work Google account (which actually contains nothing of value, but they don't know that) safe in the knowledge that it needs a rolling 6 digit code to log in. That code is generated by an app on my watch. Paypal and Facebook also do it, both of these have prevented logins from overseas.
beko1987 Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 2 factor google is gpod, ive had 2 errant texts in the last year by someone trying my account. Can be a pain when i need to get my emails on a strange pc without my phone but it happens so rarely its not much of an issue tbh

Aston Martin Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 I borrowed my sisters Galaxy and went to the chippy... in Hornsea. The car is alright, although the steering is too light.Anyway, i'm parked on the seafront, radio on and the fan is on as it's a bit warm. Chippy eaten and I'm parked on an decline facing the beach wall. I always forget "Does this have hill-hold?" Put the car in reverse and we go forward. I try again and the same thing happens.  Eureka!!! I must have to turn the engine on. tooSavvy, myglaren, xtriple and 1 other 4
JohnDeere Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 Annoying driving habits of the day... 1. Their journey is so urgent that they have to pull out of the junction/roundabout right in front of you .... before continuing in front of you on the empty road at 10mph below the speed limit. 2. The pushy/dangerous overtaker - who ALWAYS has at least one brake light out, and usually isn't wearing a seat belt 3. The "Fenland overtaking manoeuvre" seen on A roads with a long, long line of traffic all doing 45-50.  This is performed by people who really MUST move up the queue a couple of car lengths and involves driving on entirely the wrong side of the road for an extended period, regardless of whether they can see what's coming, before forcing their way back into the line of traffic by cutting up another driver when it does.
beko1987 Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 I always shit myself when driving from peterborough to crowland on whatever the new road is called. I can see why they do it, but jesus I've seen some stupid ones! My stepbrother is fucking awful for it, we went from crowland to market deeping and I swear half the fucking journey was on the wrong side of the road. He just wafts out at 80, casually overtaking everything for the next mile of straight road before pulling in for a corner/car. Maybe thats why he's had 5 fault accidents and 7 written off cars... NYE last year we went over, and we popped out to get some fish and chips from deeping, and on the way back helped some lads out who had gone off the road into a ditch. Couldnt do fuck all as they were 8ft below the road so we gave them some chips and bid them a happy new year... (they were pissed, and they knew it, and they were shitting themselves, as they were axle deep in a muddy field.) We gave it a tug with stepbros transit but it was pointless
cort16 Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 Aldi and lidl do the best chocolate just stop buy the stuff that's £3 a ton.
HH-R Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 Not had any bother with Aldi or Lidl chocolate, don't think I've eaten lidls very cheapest but used it in cakes plenty times. myglaren 1

EssDeeWon Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 Unsafe and prone to kill nuns and kittens:  Britain rejoyce! Road safety is restored once again:   You can release the nuns and kittens now. Wow what an almighty difference.  11/10 for that MOT tester, your doing a really really great job bro, keep it up. Your the best tester in the land, that is why none of your friends or family let you test their cars. Because they know your a prune. Junkman 1
