Just to let you know, they removed all of the tumour successfully. However she now has no sight out of her left eye, this might be bruising to the optic nerve as the tumour was under this. But, if she hadn't had the op, she would have lost her sight anyway. She now has an impressive scar in her hairline, various pipes coming out of her, but she's totally with it, and seems the same person I loved before the op. Now transferred into intensive care, and fingers crossed some vision might return in her left eye. Thanks for all your well wishes, Dean.

Only just got the bastard thing too. Nothing taken but all of the Daughters stuff over the pavement which was upsetting to see. CSI Stoke on Trent will be here in 20 mins to take some prints and hopefully even catch the crims, If I find out who it was the police won't have much left to catch.

That 605 is a right shed. Its CZ registered, full of dents, doors rammed with wob at the bottom. The headlining dropped out of it last week too. Still nice to have something unusual on the street though.

Some little bastard did the same thing to my long departed White Rover Sterling a couple of years ago, thanfully, it had a f*king LOUD early 90s alarm on it that happily scared off the little twat. Another member, local to the car, went and had a look at it, he says its been stood for 3 years, it'll need a windscreen, new tyres (his findings) and I reckon a good service. The lad won't buy it because it needs the above, which explains how a lot of people are on the 800 site ('oh no, I'm not gonna buy this car because its got a little scratch on the door' etc... bloody drama queens )

 

Now, a lot of the 800 lot only want 100% perfect cars. Only literally about 2 or 3 real enthusiasts will buy cars no matter what the condition, but they are not there at the moment for whatever reason. I did explain on the thread for this car that maybe someone should buy it, store it and stick it up for sale as the seller explained to the lad that he wants it gone by June. Then, the enthusiast in me came out, I edited my post to propose that I will supply money (£200) to buy the car if someone could sort out a lock up for me in or near Glastonbury, where the car is located and i will contribute to the lockup rental until I had the available funds to bring it up here.

 

I'm trying to save mkney but this just isn't happening. I fear either this car will be turned into bean can or the I might end up shelling out a load of cash getting this car into storage.

The last time I was in Tesco they were doing 3l for £3 and 2x 5l for £10, so £1 a litre. I walked out with 40l, which should last me the week

Dave: B&Q have a business card printing machine, you can knock up a design on Paint and print off some stationery yourself, then simply join Costco. In these modern times it's really not hard to 'bend' these sort of things and I'd wager decent money Costco won't be arsed as they'll want your custom anyhow.
