Cavcraft Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 Oh aye, Vauxhall selling: In the space of just ten short minutes the 'genuine, don't mess about, really want to buy it' buyer for my Corsa has had a 'family emergency'. What are the chances of that, hey? I mean, surely he's not making it up because he's a penniless moron?
cort16 Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 Oh, and I can't get the sd1 to run right. It's always been grumpy when cold but now it's unusable and I cant take it in for it's test until it'll actually run. All the auto choke bollocks is disconnected so I might try to reconnect it.
Richard Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 The new Flickr update is fucking shit. Which makes me very grumpy. Indeed. It is many times worse than the new Photobucket. I tried to add a comment to your post but my K key won't work in the comments box.
rml2345 Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 The new Flickr update is fucking shit. Which makes me very grumpy. Indeed. It is many times worse than the new Photobucket. I tried to add a comment to your post but my K key won't work in the comments box. Plus a third eleventy. I liked using Flickr, I really did but now it's almost incomprehensibly shit and unusable Also to go back to what others were saying about small cars. When I had one folks would generally either not notice I was there or do something bloody dangerous because I was. This made me drive like an aggressive arsehole in self defense. Neither is really acceptable. We all pay to use the road, why can't we all follow the same rules?
Station Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 I use Flickr in work a lot, an for example was searching for a Cessna 350. I found a bunch of images, viewed one, saved it, and went back. Although the previous search is randomised and I lost the images. It used to be so awesome, but not it seems ridiculous, an un-needed update.
trigger Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 I've set up a Ipernity account but going to pay Flickr by ear before I start changing sites due to the 29000 photos I've uploaded over the last 6 years.
autofive Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 just going to have beans on toast for my tea and find there is only 2 pans in the house and they are both dirty wtf? where have all the pans gone
dean36014 Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 Just to let you know, they removed all of the tumour successfully. However she now has no sight out of her left eye, this might be bruising to the optic nerve as the tumour was under this. But, if she hadn't had the op, she would have lost her sight anyway. She now has an impressive scar in her hairline, various pipes coming out of her, but she's totally with it, and seems the same person I loved before the op. Now transferred into intensive care, and fingers crossed some vision might return in her left eye. Thanks for all your well wishes, Dean.
trigger Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 That's excellent news Dean, thanks for keeping us informed.
Spiny Norman Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 Glad to hear she's come through it OK, we're all rooting for her.
Cavcraft Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 That's excellent news Dean, thanks for keeping us informed. +1, great news.
rml2345 Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 ^WHS! Glad to hear it man and fingers crossed for you both.
Shep Shepherd Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 What everyone else said! The very best of British to the lady
retrogeezer Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 yep, great news and fingers crossed for a swift recovery. We often forget how luck we are when we are healthy.
warren t claim Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 Left a Facebook page about scrapyard finds tonight due to it being used as an EDL recruitment tool.
Negative Creep Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 Left a Facebook page about scrapyard finds tonight due to it being used as an EDL recruitment tool. I left after someone was on there boasting about how he was going to banger an E Type
SambaS Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 I want to leave but the odd car pops up once in a while that interests me..
autofive Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 thats faecebuck for you full of wankers, and 2/3 of them are racist wankers
Danblez Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 The number of people who complain about Facebook but continue to use it. Does not compute!
Rover414 Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 Well it's full of wankers but it is a useful took for keeping in touch with some people. Even if you have a wanker-free Facebook you still get to see wanker stories, posts etc by other people commenting on them etc.
Cavcraft Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 Dear Mr Astra,I'm wellying it down a lane with a bike on my roof and you won't (or can't) keep up with me on the bends. I come across a slow moving car in front of me, it's impossible to overtake (twisty and narrow lanes) so I keep my distance. I was really impressed* with how you then sat on my rear bumper and sort of kept veering across to the right to show me you wanted to pass. THAT'S why I braked so hard at the junction and you appeared to be shitting yourself as you only just managed to stop in time.I AM a wanker, but you are a coward, aren't you?

Angrydicky Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 Facebook's good for only two things; the old car groups and stalking people.
Lankytim Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 Went to go to work this morning to find this, Only just got the bastard thing too. Nothing taken but all of the Daughters stuff over the pavement which was upsetting to see. CSI Stoke on Trent will be here in 20 mins to take some prints and hopefully even catch the crims, If I find out who it was the police won't have much left to catch.
trigger Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 Oh FFS. horrible nasty bastards. Someone broke into one of my cars and stole my CD player years ago, the feeling you get when seeing your car like that is sickening.
Lankytim Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 Scenes of crime bod has been (v impressed with the speed of the police on this one) and because it had rained overnight they couldn't get any prints. I hope the perpetrator(s) die of acne.
