That's cos it's not a lease. Oh fuck it Clive, I give up mate!

that's the last thing to do mate, too many good people have gone recently and we can go losing our resident white van man!

I hate white cars but I don't go around assuming the drivers are twats who can't afford an outright purchase,

That's the problem an if the cuff remark doesn't require that kind of language.

Right then boys and girls. Sit down and settle in. Re read the post I made earlier about captain Dickhead calling me and driving on wrong side of road just because I was waiting as required by law. The car was white. Chaseracer comments about a car driving through a pedestrianised area while on the phone which is illegal. Car was white. Them two situations the drivers were twats in white cars. Not all drivers of white cars are twats though, ive never spoke to every driver of every white car to gain conclusive statistics of the above mentioned point being made though. Hang on, I've had a white car...

Actually... We have just got rid of our mumsnet family estate "aldi" and replaced it with a "thicko can't afford a car can't drive either" lease car. White wasn't available on the base model...

So. U R ALL RONG.

To be honest I've no issues with what anyone drives, the colour age etc. As I mentioned before it's each to their own. I've no issues with lease cars. After my escapades last year I looked into a new motor on a lease but due to poor credit I couldn't do it so I gave up looking.

There is a bit of inverted snobbery on here. I'm not sure it's worth falling out about it though.

Too bloody true.

And as noted above posts bub could well be the friendliest most helpful person in the world but then so could I be as you don't know Me at all,

It wasn't me that resorted to foul language to get my point across was it.

Bub for what it's worth sorry even though that throw away comment wasn't solely aimed at you.

I think one of the problems here is that some jokes* run and run.

And run.

It gets to a point where it can touch a nerve. The Aldi thing irritates me tbh, but it's not worth getting excited about.

Fair enough garbaldy. I'm a grumpy Twat lately and do get irate. Regards foul language, yes I do swear but it's all I know. As Billy connelly said, folk who swear do so because of a lack in they're vocabulary skills. But saying that go away does not have the same effect as fuck off.

Can we all have a Christmas group hug now, please?  Lovely.

That's a true point but things stick. Like the move out thing revolving jake bullet. I do have an irrational fear of modern BMWs but I'm allowed to due to van crash!

Seeing as me and you are.. What's the word?? Slightly bonny, I don't think there will be much hugging, just a rubbing of bellies

I have a white car, and I did lease it for a few months. I'm also a bit of a wanker. Stereotype restored!

Wife's meant to be running me to the pub, wife has fallen asleep, omegod's not happy but also not brave enough to wake wife up.

Omegods also just ordered a new lease car if anyone wants to have a go at him while he's waiting for wife to wake up   :-D

I'm fucked. I've a white van. I'm a wanker in more than one respect

If it's a grey BMW don't follow my white van. Flashbacks and much screaming may occur

I'm a triple-wanker as somehow I've ended up with 3 white cars.

I wonder why six cylinder hasn't commented on this yet?

Let's make 2017, the year we all tell Jakebullet to hang in there and brave it out.

The BBC 'news' was calling today "frantic Friday" or similar.....

Don't shop, don't drive and don't fly warnings. Chaos predicted etc. So people immediately shop, drive and fly.

Mad.

Usual BBC bollocks as far as I am concerned as I had a leisurely full English at a garden centre near my sisters in Hurst near Reading. left there at 12, then drove the 100 miles home to Dorchester using my normal backroad route in just over 2 hours so no different to normal. Then we went shopping at our usual local Waitrose got everything we needed and were home by 430pm as usual......So to all the people who took notice of the BBC cheers ya daft buggers...

I didn't go to asda in the end, I went into town a d to Robert days, which wasnt too bad.

Dont know if I had an ftp or just stalled though, the car cut out as I exited a junction. Pulled over, turned the key and it runs fine again. I put it down to a bad pull away and carried on!

Not sure if it's being more uneconomical at the moment though, only got 148 miles to the last £20,normally I get 197/210 miles... Will keep an eye on that, but may tweak it back up slightly, needs Moar revs to go, now there's less power on tap...

My eldest has delayed coming up from that London today until tomorrow - last time it took him 18 hours.

Can't see tomorrow being any better though.
