Toyota Camry Executive: Base model with automatic gearbox, air conditioning and power steering. You didn’t even get hubcaps on your “executive” car.

Meanwhile, the UK Executive was the fancy pants trim on Carina II, Corolla and Camry.

I prefer "your" taillights though. "Ours" look a but half arsed. Why did they change them?

UK/European cars required a redesigned taillight arrangement to fit a rear fog lamp and to accommodate your very long number plates. Australian and American cars use the original Japanese design.

Oh boy that's ugly.

Not deliberately challenging like a Ssangyong,  just utterly half arsed.

It looks like some sort of scrap yard skip lash up made of bits of old Daewoo.

It probably is.  Every 90s hatchback ever made is a Daewoo.  FAKT.

Saw a few of them in Malta. Looks a bit Mazda-esque to me.

Almost every caravan and camper van ever produced.

Pioneer, adventurer, Swift, Ace, Diplomat, Sahara....

Should be : Damp, Mildew, Layby, Piss bucket, Cleethorpes, deckchair, powdered milk.

I think the accepted protocol is to prefix every caravan name with the word "anal".

Anal Pioneer, Anal Ace, Anal Swift, Anal Sahara, oh...

Skoda Superb, and Skoda Rapid. Both name for irony really...

In the same vein, Proton Savvy. Ford Popular. Ford Probe (snigger). Mazda Friendee (wtf?!). List goes on.

The pre-WWII Skoda was Superb.

And the Rapid pretty funky.

Come on, lets get it over with before we move onto some original suggestions...

I loved my Carisma, just a shame that the Renault diesel engine kept having the attacks of the random (and ultimately un-fathomable) limp mode.

It was a very well designed and ergonomic family and kit hauler.

I'd have another. Plus I love the curvy lines of the face lift, pictured.

110R wasn't ever designated as a Rapid was it?

Perhaps it was a misspelling and they really meant Expire

I had one of those in a really odd shade of green , the kids called it the mushy pea , it's the only car they remember form being small kids

is the green one electric or have they favoured style over cooling

None of them were electric. Radiator at the back for the green one, at the front for the red one.

frod escrote bonus?

I never understood what to Bonus was in that particular model. Bonus misery? 60bhp and a 4-speed box was really outdated in 1989/90

Peugeot 309 style.

Even better "Style" was a leftover from the Talbot range. I had a Samba Style.

I think it eventually became the base model for the 205 309, 405 as opposed to a GE with an optional pop-up sunroof.

Off topic but I really like the 110, but the rear wheels are in the wrong place. Needs a bigger arch 6" further forward

In fact now I look again, the whole body is 6" too far forward compared to the "chassis"

First time I saw a picture of one of those I thought I was having a stroke. Why’s it so bloody ugly?
