Citroen Visa Roffle - sdkrc has collected...

I’m not sure that’s quite as true of suitcase-engine Citroen’s as it is of the flat twins...

It was when I had my Super X back in 2002/3

The P12 Primera has Nissan's own engine - it's a 2.2 DCi but it's not related to the Renault unit.

Is that more or less shite points or an equal shite level.

I forget to check in and see when this is being roffled and damn I missed out on all the pre draw anxiety.
I must try harder emoji848.png.
Chod speed and all that.

The Visa will make it's back into circulation shortly. Unless I absolutely fall in love with it or it catches something terminal.

The P12 is supremely competent, I'm a big fan. The 2.2 isn't a great engine though. Not that smooth, not that powerful, not that much low down torque, 40-44mpg.

240miles, 1st piss stop. Driver switch.

Freshness levels: adequate

Coffees: 2

Rusty XJs in Stirling: >1

Probably getting so much punani he doesn't have time for updates.

That happens when you drive a Visa.

No heater, demist or high beams + 18mpg sans a trunk mounted Visa?

I'd take my chances in the Frenchie...

Well, at least it isn't dark and the middle of wint... Oh.

Just as well the dipped headlights are q̶u̶a̶l̶i̶t̶y̶ like tealights on the Visa.

(I'm awfully jealous I'm not making the journey tbh)

Oh baby...

Big shout out to @wuvvum for being a cool guy and having some sick filth parked outside his house. Best bit of the day so far was transferring the V5 at 6:58 when the site shuts at 7:00.

ETA Glasgow 3.30am.  hoooo boy...

Hands: cold

Left indicator: not always

Coffee: x4

Citroen: pure sex

Legendary AS stuff here folks. Several million points for style on the Zaphod Beeblebrox scale.

Wow and now it's much closer to me. I'd be vaguely interested if it went back into circulation...

Not yet it isn't ?

Vague interest is the best interest.

On Monday I gave the Citroen a 90% chance of making it home without issues. I'd like to officially retract that statement as wildly inaccurate as besides the rear view mirror falling off, the driver's side brake light failure and some other trivialities, she was flawless. No tools needed.

Initial thoughts are

- driving position if you're tall = bad

- driving position if you're heavy = worse

- suspension = shockingly & pleasantly floaty

- engine = like several angry bees in a cigar case and with similar power

8.5/10 really enjoyed the drive.

Long drive PRO-TIP: coffee if you want to stay awake, Red Bull if you want to stay tired but also have anxiety.

And a final big shout out to the 5 original owners, the fellowship of the Visa. This car should be preserved, used and appreciated. Soon no one will remember what it was like to have dial up internet - minutes to open up a page, the sound of logging on, losing the connection when someone answered the phone and downloading risky MP3s from limewire overnight. They will only have experience of flawless, high speed fibre optic broadband.

This is the dial up internet of the car world.

Top work sdkrc, I think surely you deserve to win the day, if not the week for this collection. Long live the Visa.

Yeah, that is an epic collection. No arsing about with Aeroplanes like a filthy fucking casual. Winner all the way.

My missus told me to look after the wee man and went back to bed because she didn't sleep well last night. I still haven't slept.

Pray for Mojo

What a collection. Fantastic. Hope the Visa brings you much Gallic enjoyment. Enjoy the suitcase driven waft. Well noisy waft, but waft nevertheless

I very much look forward to being a future roffle participant again.

Epic collection trip! When people moan a car is too far away they can be directed to this thread. Would have been good if the trip was 7 miles further though

Drove the visa again this morning to the shops. Such a fun car. Novelty hasn't worn off yet.

Last of the self-indulgent, gratuitous shots...
