I think that was the busiest Chevrons Rally I've been to as the field was virtually full with at least one of every type of Citroen (except a Mehari). I've never seen an SM there before but there were three this time, all in fetching shades of brown, and the Maxi ended up parked next to the CX Loadrunner. Great to see @Six-cylinder and @richardmorris too.

This was the highlight for me though and it isn't even a Citroen. Behold the Proton Aeroback 1.5 SE Triple-Valve of win. It would have been fun to park this in a line of Xantias and BXs and see if anyone noticed.

Seems one of the CXs attending was wrecked by a lorry driver on the M25 later on. Nearside doors and rear three-quarter panel all dented.

chevrons Rally photos showcasing the sixcylinder collection. Met @Andyrew again Mrs rew, plus @GoGently. And had a job chauffeuring everyone back to the field in the xm from depositing the fleet to locations various. @quicksilver and @Slowsilver managed to get in with the maxi too.

Shame, Phil Collins had an incident on the way there in his load runner. Front try tyre lost its tread which took out the wing, sill and plastic trim. Tyre was ancient though.

I forgot to mention @GoGently and also @RayMK who was there yesterday. I see they managed to get the matt black 2CV back together then.

@richardmorris Great to see you and thank you for your spannering on the 2CV and GS! :-)

Love the umbrella!

Happy to help. Just having a quick glass of something whilst dinner cooks. Lovely drive back in the 2cv with the roof off in the dark too. Oh and I did tell Chris to let you know the chilli is growing well- i need to keep turning it.

@Andyrew and @GoGently - great to see you too and Mrs Rew! Hope everyone had a great day. We collected a new AS member along the way (joined up there and then!) with a lovely loganberry red metallic ZX estate, with a bit more of a posh trim level than mine. Nice to see the two cars together.

Tim Dodd’s car- he lives near me in Woking. Children love writing on it.

Oddly enough I commented on the way over that ZX estates seem very rare and yours was the only one I'd seen, then got there to find that one. Pretty good turnout of ZXs this year, only two Xsaras though.

Shame I had to miss this but I had committed to attending a charity event. Some great photos above @richardmorris ?

@quicksilver and @Slowsilver - Sorry I missed you both but I have a good excuse - I was bottling last year's cider!  :-)

It was a good turnout of ZXs. The nice mid-blue metallic one came down from Great Yarmouth!
