That Lada looks a right nail.

Yep and Yep. I do love a post apocalyptic car!

Sadly I think it will go for more than I can afford.

If you want an car to use as convenient cheap dependable transport, get a Yaris.

If you want to get something to get sick of in a fortnight and sell, or roffle on,  then get something else other than a Yaris.

If it somehow goes for less that 360 quid I will buy it and daily it - as is.

Good idea. That Primera looks like a nice candidate if all fails.

Primera ends before the Lada.

I may keep the Gen2 as a backup plan...

P10 Primera is interesting due to rareity but not much else unless you're a nissan perv like me. Probably very rusty, of course.

No MOT...

It won’t need one soon enough, but I catch your drift.

I just had a further look on eBay at sub £400. Jesus Christ. It’s really genuinely depressing. I’d certainly not want to go through this process 2 or 3 times a year.

This isn’t me being a flashy bastard - my daily car cost £850 6 years ago. But I just see nothing I’d want to own.

I've got two (soon to be three) cracking sub £200 cars. Admittedly all from on here, but totally doable.

What the hell did it do to deserve that?!

There are large numbers of 75 owners who need rounding up and shooting with shit.

Just nearly had a heart attack when I went outside...

Thought it had been brought back!

Looks like a neighbour has bought one too.

You FLASH BASTARD!

No I share your thoughts there, I’ve said it before but £500 buys you old rubbish these days, unless you are lucky. Anything half decent is £750 plus.

Unless the Lada gets bid above my budget in the next hour, I'm going to miss the Primera.

Someone is going to get a bargain though.

Well fuck. The Lada got pulled. Spoke to the bloke and he wants £1850 for it!

Oh well... ?

did they have a pt cruiser before it fucks sake

Quite gutted actually. I felt it was a 350-400 quid car, and it seems so did the rest of the internet.

I'd kind of got my hopes up, I could have made it a decent car. The 1300 in these is a nice little engine.

Back to trawling Corsas and Suzuki Altos then.

The Silver Alto in Billericay?

That is rather a depressing options list on autotrader under 500 quid, most of it needs to be scrapped.   The Alto is tidy though.  One owner and FSH

It's been retired from its roll as part of a fleet of wedding cars hence the plate.

That's right. You could hire this fine steed.
