So it happens occasionally, a Frenchman sells to a Brit!

Its a perfect addition to the other R4's here at capsule towers.

1962 all original, up and running, although I will pick it up on a trailer as the last time I tried driving back the car ended up being recovered and we jumped ship and flew back from Limoges.

Will keep you updated...

That would be brilliant as a breadvan.

No 'giraffe door' at the back, though.  Bit limiting, baguette-wise...

Brilliant radioactive cheese storage van as well. I'm looking forward to this!

Oh my, it's fantastic I love it! I've never experienced one before but after seeing them everywhere on many Croatian islands I've hankered for one ever since.

I would say dibs but I imagine it'd be worth a fair bit over here.

Don't think they got the giraffe door that early.

That is lush - can't remember the last time I saw a van that early.  Is it still 6 volt and 3 speed?

Likewise. On all my trips to Croatia, I am still surprised how many survive on the islands, surrounded by salty sea spray.

*845.  It's not a Mini m8.

French cars now get a new-style reg when they're sold, so assume it must have changed hands within the last few years.

So much better looking than the saloon. Got a pic of a trailer made out of one of those somewhere, but Flickr is down currently.
