Nothing saved there unfortunately

Ironically I was doing it because I wanted to update my email address on my profile from my Hotmail to my Gmail one, but to do so I need my password.

Strange that you can auto log in but can't find the password the browser is using.  Has to be there somewhere.

If it is any help in the future, I have all such details on an SD card so when I do a clean install I have them to hand.

Firefox just resynchs but Brave and Chromium synching won't work for me.

The browser being signed in just means that the "Remember me" box was ticked, which sets a cookie.  It doesn't mean that the browser has remembered the password.

I know there was an issue a while ago with a lot of emails from AS to one of the major providers getting blacklisted as spam - though I think that was resolved a while ago.  Hopefully someone with more understanding of the innards of things will be able to assist shortly though.

search function

i was looking for something and searched and found it from 2023

wanted to search earlier and the pages only go back 400 pages on topics

wanted to search for something similar but older and it only goes back to 2020

i was like ah shit - that fucks that

but tried on posts and theres 935 pages and the first post is 2011

why does it do that and am i able at all to go back further than 2020 without trawling thru posts

i know when i want but its still gonna take a while (which i dont mind)

Have you tried a Google advanced search rather than the inbuilt forum search?

Yep, works better, but that's down to the forum software which, in most respects, excellent. Except for searching

suppose this is a good time for me to complain about the fact that the search function these days seems to suck at doing exact searches/matches, its some how matching memorial to memories!

I've never found the search function on here to be brilliant. Googling 'autoshite (whatever)' seems to be the quickest way to find stuff if the search doesn't find it easily.
