What ISP are you guys all on?

The main connection entry point to the server is to Cloudflare. If it doesn't work into the AS server from Cloudflare, I would expect a Cloudflare error page.

I get this quite often.  There is some postings about this from at least 24. Maybe it is a case of they all do that.

I occasionally get it on O2 data, but not on wifi (Sky or BT, depending where I am)

Problem is that I've never had it on mobile (Vodafone), tablet or desktop. So can't really diagnose or look more into it.

Our hosting provider doesn't show any issues on their status page... However their main homepage and admin site was inaccessible!

Only lasted a few minutes but if we do keep having issues then maybe we need to move to a different provider. There isn't a lot I can do if their whole infrastructure is not accessible - apart from moving providers.

I get the “cannot be displayed” thing every day using Safari, Vodafone mobile and BT WiFi.. assumed it was just my phone fucked tbh 😂

It’s almost like the page automatically refreshes, when I click on the AS tab from where I’ve left off, the page disappears and then goes to the error.

imagine on an iPhone if you’re doing something on safari and lose WiFi and it goes to the cannot be display page? 
 

Never does it when using the site, it’s always when I first go to visit after leaving the tab open from the last visit.

Couldn’t access the site on pc at work today but my iPad was fine. Now I am getting an error message trying to upload a photo. Stupidly I have taken a screenshot of the error to post, but now can’t upload that either!

for what its worth a couple days ago before this, on the 20th, at about 2AM, the site was quite slow and i kept getting bad-gate way errors from cloud-flare

Me too cant upload.

Out of storage completely. Upped by 5GB so should work again now. 

I usually keep a check on it and see where it's at every few months. We've chewed threw an extra 5GB pretty quickly this time. 

Doesn't help PNGs aren't compressed and usually phone screenshots which are massive. I probably need to make a script to recompress them all as JPEGs.

Sorry, I've been using those what feels like a bunch lately as this phone is being a complete and utter ass about actually showing photos I've taken in the file system without having to power cycle the damned thing.  I ran out of patience with that song and dance quite quickly.

I thought  ,png was a smoll format.

It is (ish) but it's not lossy so you still get bigger files than old school jpeg compressed (and sized) for web viewing.

Phone images (imho) are bloody crap anyway - how the hell my iPhone (state of the art 2020SE ) thinks that creating something like a 5Mb JPG is OK I have no idea - the energy wasted in storing and transmitting something that should just be a 1280px wide thing at well under 1Mb defeats me. If I were* cynical I'd think it a ploy by Apple to get you to rent some Cloud storage from them and get more tied into their feckin' 'ecosystem' (I don't and I'm not).
Fine, if you want to blow it up for printing or making into a scatter cushion, but (using Sprog here as an example) there's folks with 10 Gb+ of  images in 'The Cloud' that they never use or look at - multiply that by a couple of million UK users and that's a waste of power?
