Are you there yet?

The combined poo count could be high on this one!

Currently well north of Tebay...the Moog has been trying to pluck up courage to pass a police car for the last 27 miles but to no avail.

Poo count still at zero.

Posted

Definitely tomorrow. Stopping over tonight 90 minutes south of collection location which will hopefully be reached by mid-late morning.

Are we all involved in this?

I've just had one.

In other news, the police car was finally passed and rate of progress is up approximately 20%

PC still zero (thankfully, as we haven’t actually stopped yet)

If your going up the a9, you'll experience the oddity of the 70mph average zone... I peeled off from the bus and convoy there to get to Dundee and deliver a hoover, and despite only doing 69.5mph I flew past everything as if I was doing 95. Was very strange!

Stopping's overrated, I've just witnessed a man projectile vomiting out of his window on the M42, while still driving...

Are the Isle of Wight ferries working at the moment? If not I feel this collection will be stopping well short of another breakfast.

Near Solihull?

Probably unintentional, he probably just looked out the window and beheld the horror.

Currently a bit distraught. Just stopped for a break, bought a coffee from one of these self serve Starbucks machines and have now realised I paid for a grande cup but only pressed the tall button resulting in half a cup of coffee.

Overnight stop. Beers and pizza consumed. Scattegories about to begin.

I think the collectee has got or is getting a forklift.

Hoping it won't be needed tomorrow.

I'm not sure what to think of this tbh, at the moment shitefest 18 hasn't ended, as not every car returned home.

By the time your finished tomorrow, it'll be officially over.

I r sad

Oh, and PC still nil.

Sorry, but just to be clear, it's been ALL DAY and not one of you has had a poo yet?

I'm incredulous to say the least.

If it is, I’ll be surprised. And also fairly livid.

Huzzah, sf18 lives on!

I hope its the RHD suburban towing the High roof LDV with the green goddess in the back of it

Lancer has returned 41 mpgs so far which is fairly good. Sitting behind police car always helps :-)

I hope it is the green Goddess!

So far both lady friends are enjoying the bracing Scottish air.

najgleeds is having an existential crisis over what the hell is red pudding and how the chippy had so many choices including Nutella gnocchi.

Tomorrow is about to get interesting... and I don't just mean the bowel movement counter....

Posted

We will likely be there from about 10ish if you fancy - always nice to meet shiter in the flesh :-)

We have many tools but extra swearing may be required!

Well if they’re en-route to Chez Saabnut, what will they be returning with?

A 9-3 wagon which has never been washed?

A high-roof LDV?

The rhd Holden Suburban?

A green goddess with a rod knock?

A p38 that’s a nice place to sit (whilst you wait for the aa man)?

A p6 which is returning to th earth?

Yep, it could well be one of those.

Operations will commence shortly...in the meantime, PC (personal) now stands at 1

Typically, after the day from hell yesterday and completely losing the day, my forklift mover has just phoned to say he will be collecting the forklift for me at 0845 this morning! Eeek! I have to take a battery up and get it running (last started about 6 months ago) so if I am not here when you arrive entertain yourself by admiring* the collection and I will be there shortly!
