Doom scrolling FB MurkyPlace on the mobile telephone last night whilst SWMBO was 'consuming' some TV thing I came across a 'long time no see' vehicle.
Then another, same colour different transmission.

Have a pair of Lancer Estates (of all things) - the badermatic needs more work to it

Ah yes, that well known skill horses have; checking ratchet straps. They're very good at it.

They tap it twice and say that's neigh going anywhere.

Unfortunately, that is still very much not the price for a non MOT'd BX with 190k on the clock - you do have to wonder about these 'find it cheap and slap it on marketplace' types

Wheels are 6 stud (which I thought meant 7.5 tonnes)  but the tyres look bigger than the usual 750x16.

Father PD had a 1969 Tk from new (GPT 231H iirc) It had 6 stud wheels with 8.25 x16 tyres but it was plated at 8.5 tonne.  A later 10.00 tonne TL he had had 17inch wheels on 8 stud rims.

SKA'D FOR LIFE indeed.

It's got the wrong engine and even that's fucked, too.

£200/best offer.

Wonder how long id get away with moving the kids into those two caravan's in the council car park so I could have the room in the flat back as motorcycle storage...

Following the passing of my father at the beginning of September, I now have to dispose of his car.

This listing is for a Ford Sierra 1.8L first registered in 1992.

I guess this could either be a project or be used as a donor vehicle for parts.

It has an MOT until March 2026, but there is a long list of advisories. Please see photo.

The car has been kept outside, so the bodywork is looking a bit tired in places, as is the interior which could also do with a good clean.

I've has a look through the previous MOT certificates and the mileage appears genuine.

The car starts and drives (I had to move it off the road onto the garage forecourt), but any successful purchaser may wish to consider taking it away on a trailer.

Any questions please ask.

Thanks for looking.

Bit of a theme:

Quote

This  vehicle was bought new by my father in law  and was his daily drive until 18mths ago when he was unable to continue driving.
Has covered  just over 90,000 miles and has full service history up to 2022 with the recorded mileage of 85,875 (16 stamps)
Has sat on my drive since February 2025 and still starts on the button.
The vehicle is in generally good condition with full leather interior.
Bad points:
Has No MOT, expired 19.04.2025. Mileage at previous MOT on 15.04.2024 was 89,490
Also No Number plates as previously had private plates which have been removed.

Different Lancer to the ones I posted earlier - proper Giffer Fodder this one. Needs MOT and has no number plates :-)
