"Let's break this obscure but rare car in decent shape that I know only 5 are registered of because I can make 200 quid more than I'd sell it for."

Except they wont make 200 quid more, its such a rare car that the que of people wanting parts is going to be tiny

Mega 90's. Venoms, fugly body kit, smoothed boot lid  and a red top XE conversion,

Nae good - my (twin) brother did a teacher training stint in Galston back in the 1980s - I heard there's a couple of paternity enquiries still in hand ......

Mind you, that is a spectacularly ugly car - double F ffugly ?

OK - how about this one:

Lemony Looking Mundaneo - write up says all sorts of wonderful things about it. It's Brightwells Auction - of course they will.
Ends tomorrow, currently £1100, guessing the reserve is £5500 (looking at the main auction listings).
Buyers premium is a very* low* 12% + vat (!)

Personally? I'd go for the ffugly mini

Part of a deceased estate. Requires major restoration or as a source of parts to keep another car going. No keys. Obviously needs trailering away, which I can help with on a cost per mile basis. Rolls easily. History: 1972 LHD imported to the UK in early 2002 (first registered April 2002) Last owner bought car in September 2009 but hasn't been used since.

£1,200

For anyone like me who didn't know what airdrive is I can confirm that its nothing to do with the holes in the bulkhead. These got an onboard compressor below the load bed running off the pto. The grill at the front protects an oil cooler mounted in front of the rad. Apparently they were used on road maintenance and were handy for small jobs.

Also found a pic of this one looking much the same in 2010.

There's a lot of HOT PORNOGRAPHIC ACTION in the background of that photo, is that still legal?
