Happy memories of these. Dad “inherited” a nearly new one  when he was promoted when his boss retired. Same interior but his was an automatic and black. I remember feeling quite embarrassed rocking up to sign on one day in it. Wearing a suit, on my way to an interview, having just dropped him at the airport. The looks I got😂

Made my wrists ache after 30 minutes, vibratory,  course, shittiest riding position for a sports tourer. You can put up with  all that on a 900SS, even 851 or 888 they are seriously sporty but on somethings that was supposed to be comfortable? The 6 month old VFR750 I had at the same time was miles better. 
I suspect it’s relatively valueless is for a reason. 
Oh and I forgot the cambelt that need lots of special tools and they have to be changed really when the bikes are left standing too long, if you want the motor to last anyway
