Slightly* optimistic having security bars on the back window.

They’re probably structural at this point

I found out recently someone at work gave away his really tidy 45 as it stopped running. Happily, it sounds like it's gone to an enthusiast.

ERF Tractor unit 1983 | eBay UK

Think I may have posted this before (soz/not soz) but what a glorious way to spend £5,000.

I don't know much about bikes, but this looks incredibly cool.

BMW K1 - 1990, low mileage

Back in the old days when I were no’ but a slip of a lad <wobbly lines across screen as I go into flashback mode>

Had a couple of oddball customers who bought these into the main dealer where I worked in the mid 90’s to early 2000’s, they were a ten year old model at the end of that, but BMW bikes, back then, were sold as things of quality that lasted compared to the mainstream Japanese stuff, That wasn’t exactly true then but I expect it really isn’t now.
Anyway BMW K1, they were weird, as heavy as a tourer and felt totally slabby and horrid and heavy at low speeds,  with confidence they were  really competent, in the same way a 1990’s FZR1000 is/was, basically if you were prepared to ride it great, if you tried to potter and be careful, horrid.
Spares backup was amazing for them, I think BMW must have made lots of spares knowing full well the weird bodywork would get broken easily.

they were always thought to be the next big collecible BMW after the old R90S that was rare and expensive even back then, dont think the K1 ever got that popular and is probably now just weird.

Just needs an 'S' as the third letter of the number plate. Land Rovers are like Poxwagens, the scene tax is unreal. It is very nice though.

this was a genuine 150mph bike

On a K1 they would be a very fast (or very dead...) postie!
