Genuinely great little cars these, don't rust, move along well, good on fuel and really easy to work on.

Great cheap motoring, that thing will go on for years.

They're not totally shit to drive either.

If I needed a cheapy I'd 100% have that.

Facelift really wasn't an improvement IMO

I went out with a lass back in '93 who had a Metro with the registration KAN 166W.

I'm sure there's a joke about pignose somewhere, too...

*Unpopular opinion: these were fugly and not a patch on a Calibra.

But also a correct opinion, couldn't hold a candle to the Vauxhall and that was out in the late 80's 😱😱

Don't rust !!! what about the bulkheads and rear outer sill ?

I've never seen a rusty one but then I suppose you don't see millions of them about anymore.

Dennis Hopper was weird, possibly insane, but by god-damn he was also cool!

More cool than Steve McQueen by a mile (and he was polar)

This ticks a lot of boxes for me, except it’s auto. But… the ‘box is kaput anyway.  Anyone know how easy these are to convert to manual?

Having read the full advert and noted the following  'Crochet not removeable'

Oh it is my friend, it is.

One way or another

I mean, can you imagine when its been through some muddy puddles and then left damp and its all started to rot? Thats coming off one way or another if you like it or not if you drive it as a normal car.

Bit of British steel......unsure if this is a bargain or hes just a chancer at £750

This is being sold as spares or Repair Runs and drives No brakes Inter. Ior will need completely revamping and body work is Not standard Have the original bumpers In poor condition Lots of welding has been done on this alread But Engine and box is worth The money 💰 restoration project It's not in showroom condition
