Oh sorry... It's a 1962 PA Cresta, and cheaper than I've seen one advertised in a LONG time.  It is actually in the pic of the Omega; look across the bonnet and there's a green and white PA showing its backside.  I know where it lives, it's only Ulverston.  One of my friends lives a few doors along, I've asked her to get what info she can for me.

The Cresta is interesting- it's got individual leather front seats and even wood door capping- so it was the absolute top of the range.

I very much doubt it's the original colour - but it does look nice - though clearly needing some work. Ad states it's been 'restored' before - so may have some filler by the looks of it. But very nice.

Price of these does seem to have come down a bit.

Eh...

Don't think we're going to see a better advert on here for a very long time. Brilliant find, 10/10, sir.

That's really nicely odd, raised body work to presumably clear the engine, a fifth wheel for hauling 40ft trailers??

But £5000 for a homebrew special????

I don’t think the body’s been raised it’s just the front wings have been shortened and widened and the bulkhead has been widened where the doors mount, also it looks like 90/110 axles mounted on the series leaf springs on a spring over axle conversion-are those spilt rims with the metal band ?

How the fuck has a C reg Escort that lives on the Isle of Wight managed to survive?!

Amazing how many cars survive on the Island, my 1976 Austin Allegro has lived here all its life and is remarkably rust free

The trains are even older there. It's a sunny island.

Unfortunately they ‘upgraded’ to 1970s ex tube trains a few years a go, before that they were 1930s rolling stock, they were literally falling apart but had charm.

Eh...

Dear me, what a load of fucking drivel.

Reminds me of a comment made in Wales online previously after a car was found crashed into the river Tawe and the body's not discovered for a number of hours.

Didn't take long for footage to emerge of the driver getting into it pissed at 3am and being the main cause, too much speed and under the influence.

They were driving a mini JCW thing which yes are a nippy little car but one bloke put up a comment to a reply "look em up butt, they're the fastest cars on the road, look at the insurance quotes on them, they can 200mph" 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄.
