Had an off road day in one of them in Dalby Forest about 20 years ago. 16 gears forward and reverse. Took us down a hill that I wouldn’t have been able to walk down. 
It was pretty ancient , ex East German army apparently, which was quite appropriate because we got warned off by the military police for getting too close to the early warning site at Flylingdales.
