PT Cruiser Roadster

Removed the roll bar... Is this going to twist and twirl like an old Rover 100 floppytop?

Looks a bargain for £2500

That does look good. No obvious rust. It can’t be that hard to get running properly.

Car still runs and drives however seems to be an issue with it, unsure what the problem is.

Wooden Car Body Kit Car

Quote

Wooden car body.  Found this in my father in law’s garage so know nothing about it.  Probably from the 1960s?  Never been finished, no idea if it’s a kit car or something else.  It’s not a Marcos as I’ve asked the owners association.  All wooden except the metal subframe which I’m told is from a BMC 1100 mounted behind the driver, possibly supposed to have 13” wheels.  Clearly never been finished but nicely made.  Some sort of home made kit car possibly, or something more interesting?

Length 9 feet, width 4 feet 6 inches.  It is quite heavy, currently sitting on a trailer which is not included but helps with moving it.

Seems a shame to cut it up and dump it.

I wouldn't bet on that.  I had one in Cyprus and it was a pig to tune.  Felt like it had blocked jets somewhere, but we never found a blockage.  All that said though, I'd have another like a shot.

They do seem to suffer with jet problems - mine never has though luckily.

A couple of good filters on the fuel line, an elbow adaptor on the manifold and an HIF6 SU carb would see that running.

That Humber is glorious, I've always wanted one of those.  Price is a bit salty for a weldathon, but I suppose these days it's not unusual.  I'm seeing many more at much higher figures, with no significant advantage over this one.  They aren't getting any younger or more common!

I saw that! It looks flippin amazing for the money , and identical to my last one. Sadly, I'm skint as usual ☹️
