To be fair, it looks like it's not a cheap thing to build. Usually the more shit the design, the more it costs to make.

(New POD....Once built a one wheeled trailer for an A level project, to go behind a motorbike, the idea being that it woukd lran with the bike..That bit worked.. it cost a bloody fortune.)

It's in fabulous Croydon. I bet it'd be great fun to get the train down and ride it home down the quieter roads, would be well up for that.

That'd be a slow journey home. I love pootling about on my C50 but its dangerously slow on some uphill A roads with full compression!

Fit an aluminium contraption to the bars and ride round cosplaying a wannabe cabby from the 80s studying for the knowledge - used to see 'em all the time.

Slightly off topic but does the AI description in loads of ebay adverts grate on anyone else?  It reads as if it was written by Swiss Tony's fucking 7 year old.

It grates, very badly, very very badly.

Its actually stopped me even bothering to read some stuff, even for vehicles i'd actually be quite interested in. Its just useless, lack of any real info and, as you say, a swiss tony dodgy car dealer write up helps no one (unless they are morons)

Knocker-powered camper van.  Looks a bit of a bargain at £6K.  Engine noise alone is worth that.

Also, also -

on these xud’s if the cams snapped the valves will be fine. The way the valves sit straight above  the rising piston means they often only snap a couple (or all!) rocker arms and may or may not snap the cam. So,  more often than not new cam and rockers and time it up with a new belt and away you go*

*ideally. it’s not 100% of them time, but quite often

Must be a rare old thing.  Drove the odd Daf 2800 unit round a yard now and then, they seemed pretty good.

Cheap Ami project for the right person ( ie not wanting to make a profit I think ).

That Sierra is marvellous - I love how his extensive write up fails to even mention the dashboard switch lash up.

Unbelievable they haven't mentioned FS1E or SS50 in the title, the hits would go through the roof if they did imho.

Oh.

But apparently a GTX... Suspect, given the wheels and headlight blanks, that it isn't
