Great spot, thanks, extra rum ration for you tonight.

23/4/93 registered - 30th earliest left on my list. This was a 'suspected survivor' as it was in the @greengartsidedata, but nice to know it is still around,  but sadly doesn't look long for the world...

Had one. Well, Mrs Grogee Mk1 did.

Utter dogshit. Shat its 5th gear and was noisy as well. Terrible gearshift.

It did have a digital dash though, so swings and roundabouts.

Opel Astra F - 1 OWNER - DELIVERY FOR FREE ( alike Vauxhall Astra MK3 ) | eBay

Includes free delivery from Germany.  You could probably be sneaky, put UK plates on it that match the reg and 'sell' the number to some tit with a 15 year old Range Rover.

This seems like an unlikely spec. Was there really a 3.0 Ghia Cortina in the UK?

I'm pretty sure that there was a South African 3ltr Cortina but not a UK spec one. In the the UK the biggest engine option was the 2.3 Cologne offered from about 77.

Are Crayford Capris really all that? From where I'm sitting it's a dubious aftermarket conversion which ruins the best bit of the Capri, the rounded rear window.

Anyway if they are 'all that' then it's your lucky day because this heap is just* £35k

This car is a South African import but Superspeed or Race Proved (Jeff Uren ) would have built one for you if you had lots of money and good taste.

No he brings them in from south Africa where ford did make them, there where a handful of savage mk4's ( not sure if any survive)  & superspeeds I think only the very well known brown estate survives.

Rare and rotten. Also, that's not the original rotary is it?  Edit: that's not a R100 anyway. 818?

Don't know where they've got R100 from. It's an 818 with the normal engine, like this one:

1973/74 Mazda 818 coupe

Would be an RX-3 if it had the rotary, also twin round headlights.

I honestly can't remember the last time I saw a saloon on the road. I like to think these proper fit in around here now
