🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Wondering if it would make it here under its own steam (I mean for £100 first bid?), try a fix or three, if they fail - over the bridge?

It's got a fair few giffer scratches and looks like it needs a DPF clean but would it be something simple like a fluid change on the gearbox to solve his slippage?

It could be, yes. But it could also be another £5000 chasing random problems. Run away, run away fast and now. Why is the owner selling after spending so much recently? Because he knows more.

That has, indeed, crossed my mind - if I was he I'd just run that through the local auctions, no reserve and trust that a cold 'box wouldn't slip (altho' the DPF warning up on the dash could be a crippler).
But I can still dream 🤪

Happy to collect and store it for you if you win it - I’m not too far away.

Similar vein to the C6:
This one is now coming to the end of it's second 10 day listing at £1200, if you're lucky it's the clutch master cylinder, if not then it's the slave (lovely jubbly, concentric-pain-in-the-butt job).
Add on the cost of a recovery then I don't think he's going to sell it.

At least the c6 interior is a nice place to break down in. Not even mentioning Newport.

That C6 is a nice parts donor and not much more. You can get a much better one for not that much more money if you are patient.

As if buying an SL500 wasn't brave enough anyhow, here's one in potentially the worst colour, with a horrible interior and a 'CAT' marker that 'sskipped being serviced some years

That's my old blingo, gone up a bit in value :D

It's had a quite a bit of money spent on it and the weird chipboard bed has been lobbed in a skip

Every panel is a different colour, but I believe it's the top of the range. With leather and the fucking boot chute.

I think that colour always looks like that, Mrs Concern's one is the same. Hers doesn't have the boot shute, but does have pan roof. We both really like it and must be 100% future shite.

Oof. That's perfection. I can just imagine putting on a wax jacket and flat cap before loading my labradors into that and driving to the woods in the pissing miserable rain.

Wrong country

Barely a hundred miles away.  Ferries are a thing you know!
