Honda Civic 1.5 petrol

Great little car for its age having only done just over 38,000 mile from new

Body work it’s good with a few minor age related marks but overall it’s in good condition,

M.O.T until February 23,
Passed last year with 3 advisory’s but all got sorted on the day from the garage
(Nothing serious)

3 owners from new,

Starts first time with no knocks or bangs,

Only reason for sale is we have a new car

£995

Nice car but I never understood why they put the spare wheel on top of the boot,

just looks crap

I vaguely remember some advertising spiel about having room for a set of golf clubs in the boot. Obviously they couldn’t have achieved it with the spare wheel in there.

I agree it doesn’t look great and it also restricts the view in the mirror quite badly .Still prefer it to a can of slime and a cheap electric pump.

This is an interesting one - bASe model Sandero in a colour other than white.  I didn't realise that was a thing.

Because the spare wheel takes up a load of space in the boot.  It was quite common in the ‘70s

Also IIRC the spare couldn't go beneath the boot floor, something to do with the de dion tube.

I can’t think of any other 70s 4door saloon car that had its spare wheel mounted on the boot lid

No, I mean on the Rover it was commonly done in the ‘70s.
