It’s registered as a 2520cc

probably got the BMC diesel

shame there’s no pics of the engine, as the exhaust manifold on the BMC diesel kind of looks like a set of rams horns

Good price for one with an MoT and low miles. Seen a few chancers on the bay pretending they're worth £2k.

I like it a lot. Unfortunately I don't need any more cars, otherwise I'd be on this like flies round shit

Yeah it’s a great example, I’d buy it if I hadn’t already bought this one off of him  lol

Dont think thats a ringer, Ebay listing says it has a 2.5 diesel engine which fits for the time period

the Nissan was a 2.7 lump

unless theres something obvious that im missing which shows it to have the nissan lump?

Engine Size:

ahhh yeah I tend to just gloss-over that section on eBay for the most part, as often times its auto-filled and not very relevant to the actual thing being listed

I was going by what he describes it as in the listing :) (and the DVLA record, which obviously wont be correct if it was a ringer mind!)

I do almost wonder if its actually an FL2 hire car? but there is something on the roof and I almost wonder if thats covering an ex Taxi light hole?

he also describes it as a 3 speedo auto, and the Nissan Powered Jobbies (the Fairways) used a four speed auto a Jatco E4N71B to be exact from some quick sleuthing :)

I remember getting one of those as a hire car in Spain in about 1995. They weren’t imported here, so it was a case of WTF.?

We parked it on the road outside our hotel and we could see it from the balcony of our room. One day a massive German coach comes along and can’t get round the corner, so several guys jump out of the coach and lift our car onto the pavement.
