Move slowly with the Slowest Diesel Imaginable (SDI) engine, work out windows, and a distinct lack of air conditioning. On the plus side, it does have the optional black paint... so on the outside you look posh as fuck.

To be fair, they are... Kind of. Skoda Fabias, Octavias and Superbs all sell really quickly for strong money - they all have great reputations, when compared to other VAG shite.

Very true. I'll have had mine a year in March. Can't fault it really.

Indeed - hardly the last word in performance or refinement, but that engine will be powering something long after the apocalypse.
