I actually love that but don't think I could bring myself to part with a grand on it - would make it the most expensive car I'd ever bought!

Bombsite trader, awful colour, useless wing, looks like a box on tiny wheels, smoll 850 cc three cylinder with an automatic that makes it even slower, will not reach the 130 kmh speed limit.

Tempting.

On the other hand, what's involved in importing a car from Holland??? And why do they have so many Daihatsu Moves over there? Very few in the UK but I love the colour of that one.

My inner masochist wants that to be sprayed in mint green or something obnoxious like that.

Wait that's abnoxious?

Exporting a car of this age won't involve much paperwork or costs, professional traders can usually provide the necessary export papers. Don't know how difficult it would be getting it registered in the UK though, brexit may have made things a bit more complicated?

The Move was one of the stereotypical popular "grandad cars" along with other boxy Asian minis such as the Wagon R and Atos. Easy to get in and out of, low running costs, reliable. Seems they were exactly what the average sensible pensioner wanted.

A bit new compared to most tat on here, but think it'd be a good* one.

It's not just paperwork that's laden with red tape, this poor Fabia has had the same treatment...
