Look at the rarity value. There can't be 2 other 1.6 SR hatches with gingercaters and grey tweed recaros still in one piece. Pity the iron crosses seem to have lost the centre caps. Went for over £5k because the www.mk2cav.com boyz will have been creaming thier pants over it.

It's the gate post you wally.

Look a bit closer, there is an upright wooden post at the side of it. Whatever it is, in the same shot as a rotten Renault 5 that hasn't been tested for six years, I just thought it looked funny.

Yes, a wooden fence post. The gates are metal, as is the 'reaper'.

Honestly I'm suprised there are any of these not crashed. Back in the mists of time (2010ish) I was working as a mostly drunk chef in an arsehole of a pub. One of the waitresses who worked there reviewed cars for a local paper and had been given this to test. She was quite affable and knew my love for vehicles so let me drive this around a bit. If you are a fan of seeing out of the cars you're piloting I would advise against these. The only think which has had worse visibility I have been in was a Countach with all the wings and strakes and shit on.

Also the rear tyres wore out really fast, on a press car?

Dunno but that is "Smiley Miley" on the bonnet around the time of the roadshows

This looks interesting and oddly appealing. I am sure I read something about it recently but cannot remember where or what it is.

The advert is lacking any information, especially whether it has a V5 which for a kit car is more of a worry.

Properly loaded Stilo estate.  These are actually a fantastically competent car, especially with the 8-valve JTD engine.  Shame this one needs so much work.

Vauxhal shite in a local selling group:

The car is nothing to do with me, but I’d be up for facilitating collection with the trailer and temporary storage whilst uplift is arranged should a shiter be interested in it as it’s somewhat on my doorstep. The group is ‘Cars for sale Brighton’.

I didn’t know you could run a car on brake cleaner?

In that case, you've learnt something new today.

I am trying to make a joke about your user name, brake cleaner and the seller’s diagnosis.

But I can’t because Friday night is cider (8.5% abv) night and I have started early.

Aye, it's an auto, but that interior is just droolworthy.

That looks like a genuine example. Funny really that the seller calls it an early example though. A fella a couple of doors down from my parents owned a K10 on a Y plate back in the day, which in hindsight must have been one of the very first examples.

I guess one on a B plate is still one of the early survivors remaining though. Most seem to be facelift K10s - I wonder if they were better rustproofed?

I'd never noticed that before! I wonder why Nissan made that bizarre alteration partway through their production?

I struggle to comprehend the fact that it's almost four decades old. My Morris Minor was a smidge under 25 years old when I owned it in the early 90s and it felt ancient at that point.
