If boatshite was a thing. This is what I imagine it would be about. And the collection threads would be about buying and retrieving old Russian trawlers from Murmansk in winter.

I owned one!  UWW 92R, in about 1988.  It was even the same red as the Portugese one.  Might have been a nice little car actually, but it had no MoT and looked like it was going to be too expensive to fix.

When my dad had an A-reg Astra estate in the mid-'80s, a local family had an A-reg Chevette estate in the same shade of reddish brown.  The contrast between the two was quite stark...
