Is it possible that a numberplate can _reduce_ a car's value?

Image 21 - Sunnis-max-2

Sunnis max 2 | eBay

'was running up until a few months ago as I left the petrol tap on and flooded the engine'

And then filled the carb and kept on going until it spilt over with so much force it smashed the clocks off, fucked the headlight, twatted the right hand mirror off and snapped the front mudguard? If there's a 4th picture coming I'll be disappointed if it is not of a hundred pairs of animals walking towards it.

That explanation sounds like the ones my mates and I used to manufacturer back in our looneyplate days

Because the crash we'd just had absolutely wasent a lack of talent and experience....oh no never

It’s on a gold V8.  Speaking as the owner of such a thing, at best the plate shows a refreshing self-awareness and at worst is tautological.

1 2 3 4 i declare a Rover 800 bid war!

I’m out, it was quite exciting as the high  bidder for a day. But if I’m going to pay a Grand or more for an 800 it’s going to need a 2.7 V6 or be a big bumper MK1.

Good luck!

A mate had one identical to that years ago.  I had a sit on it - heavy bastard but felt like you could jump on and ride it to the south of France without breaking a sweat.

Aka a flying fridge due to the styling.

Most certainly will yomp south in comfort at great pace. Great bikes.

I could buy this and recreate me at 20, when I bought a slightly dodgy C-reg GR. Money's not far off what I paid for mine in 1990 (which was suspiciously cheap).

Peugeot 309 GR at Surrey Road, Ipswich 1990

Yeah, sorry, I did my bit to contribute to that.......

Peugeot 309 1.6GR crash

That cabin body is impressively distorted with at least a couple of 'hinge' points up the side there.

How fast you were going will very much affect what I think about that. 50mph fair enough. 30mph would be tin foil territory.

As you managed to get clear to take and share the photo I assume that you survived. Which is nice. 😁

When I clicked on that and saw £795 , I thought I’d time-travelled to 2010.

When I saw £795 I thought I was travelling to Newcastle but £7995 nah, I'd rather have the 800 if gone today SLK

I guess 50-60mph when I left the road, then travelled off-road until it tipped over upsidedown into this hole (possibly the cellar to an old house that was there years ago):

1986 Peugeot 309 1.6GR (1991)

Luckily the only bit that stayed intact was around me.
