Sort of understandable, why you'd do that. These Rileys have a half-arsed composite roof - wood, perforated steel and some sort of 1940's roofing felt.

Much given to leak, rot, collapse etc

I didn't know that...

It still looks shit though, the screen rail is far too wide and the new roof looks like a fucking caravan awning.

Nah, he's just dropped a Nissan Sunny ZX Coupe engine in.  Those will do 160 all day long.

It has no rear wall  to the cab because this use that part has thankfully ben removed. to be a camper. The rear  is now just  a bare chassis.
