Lotus Elite with a Rover V8 conversion. I was actually vaguely interested in this one until I saw the phrase "Jaguar E-Type differential". So instead I'll just post the following picture and let you make up your own joke.

I worked with a guy, who bought an early Esprit, mid 70s car.

With a broken engine.

and stuck a Rover V8 in that.

About 1992.

I think that there woukd be better engines available then, and there definately is now.

If he'd not put it in for an MOT last month it would still have had a Boris extension until the end of October and would have been a lot easier to sell.  Weird.

Cheap CX Croisette

Not a bad price at all...

It is cheap, but from my extensive* experience of buying silver CXs with a few weeks' MOT, there's generally a reason they're being sold with only a few weeks' MOT.

Hope it has the later wishbones suspension as the pillar type on mine was borderline dangerous.

Looks like wishbones from the photos.  Wasn't the 2B the "budget" Robin Hood (before the Sub K came along at least)?  I always got the impression they were more about the looks than the drive - if you tried to keep up with a Caterham you'd end up upside down in a ditch.

Jealous of Reg_Ballz and his Horsebo11ox? Want a project that'll win admirers on here, but may cost you everything else?

Step right this way..... For just £51 (so far) this could be yours....https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ERF-LV-tractor-classic-car-tractor-lorry-fair-ground-showmans/133498657462?hash=item1f1523dab6:g:GRcAAOSwQgxfKcAV
