I'm highest bidder on this atm

I suspect the 'trader' will be after big money so am fully prepared for a last minute pull and some shill bidding.  I just thought I'd stick a punt on it now as way of remembering about it.

If anyone wants in on a MK2 Golf in the best colour with the worst transmission then let me know! (!)

Mint.

That is the best bit of chod I've seen in AGES.

I'd love to get that looking minty but I've no need and no real want - it's an avensis after all.

Seems to have a REV counter tho?  I'm sure I've seen them without such decadence...

Surprise surprise.  He's pulled it.

I've just text him saying I was prepared to pay £4k for 'nostalgic reasons'.  Always nice to cause people a bit of a flap!

Or Volkswagen at Wolfsburg wanting it for the museum at an undisclosed sum. Shame...we just bought another for £22,000.

Always a lot of grumbling on Ebay about buyers but sellers are no better.

If that welding puts you off a mini either your looking at the wrong price range or the wrong cars.

If anyone ever wondered what a Vauxhall Cavalier would look like as you fell onto it from a first floor window, here is your answer.

The description itself makes even less sense, but is worth a look if you want a laugh/can figure out what the fuck it is they are trying to say.

spare or repair only sale the  car will not take parts off  has a mot till 12/04/2020 need and inturnal roof lining  near side wing mirror paint would need redoing in place run  has been used everyday any question please feel free to ask only reson for sale as the to big for the own now never had any real trouble with it but not many of the left now

Translation

?site=0&stg=1&mpt=1566598884463The sale of this car is for spares or repairs only (because I'm obviously a trader and don't want to offer a warranty)  despite it having 8 months mot and being in daily use and it being quite reliable and not causing any particular trouble.

I will not take and sell parts off the car. You buy the whole car.

The roof lining is a bit shit, and the wing mirror has dodgy paint.

If you have any questions you only need to ask and i will respond in an incoherent way.

It is being sold only because it's too big for the owner.  And if you believe that you are a fool.

Did you know that there's not many left on the roads these days ?

Yes, it is an MOTed Renault 25 Monaco with a buy it now price of £850. If someone off here doesn't buy it over the Bank Holiday weekend we will know Autoshite is certainly not what it once was.

I wouldn't have thought yellow would suit a Calibra, but it does work rather well.

Rather more impressive is it has almost 220k on the clock.

Currently trying to get a mate to buy this. It's an Se2, they came like that from the factory. He had one about 10 years ago and is always on about regretting letting it go.

I've had a few disappear when I've been the only bidder at 99p....

3 years later, I still can't believe I managed to bag an MOT'd E36 for £191 from a badly listed ebay ad.

Still driving it, too!

I really like the coupe roofline of these Bluebirds, something very appealing about it. I've wanted one for 30+ years but it's never worked out (though I did spend a weekend grovelling around underneath one in a scrapyard to liberate it's 5-speed 'box for my 180B).

I'm tempted but the chances of me getting to Glasgow to collect it before November are very slim.  And it would have to live outdoors.

There use to be a lad on the 200sx oc who was putting the SR20DET into one.  Don't suppose he ever finished it.....

edit: I found his name! 30psi and I think Martin in RL.
