I should bloody coco.

Check out the giant phallus glued to the bonnet, and the aileron from some entirely other car stuck in the low pressure area behind the vertical rear screen where it’s guaranteed to maximise lift.

What! Just shy of 7 grand for that pile of wank, the selling dealer has a reputation for overpriced stuff and has reached new heights with this..

watchlisted this, with a view to replacing the Rover with it.

even though i generally despise VAGshite.

there is a local one for sale, in a lurid applejack green (which i really like) with silly low miles, and an even sillier £3k asking price. this one for a grand is for realistically priced, imo.

A 164 that has done over 200,000 miles. Has appeal.

The basic steel wheels do suit it, although I thought 164s all had 5-stud wheels....? Also I thought that early 164s had masses of anonymous-looking switchgear in the central console, but this one seems to have got away without any.

Remember that 9,000 mile Solara? Unsurprisingly it has been snapped up. Pics have appeared on the Talbot FB group. Bloody hell, just look at the 1.3 beauty. Envy anyone?

Hyperbolic ad makes me think this will end up 'auction ended' before it gets to finish.  I remain to be pleasantly surprised.

Crawled past £1000 last night. Very early days, though.

Hyperbole probably sign of a flipper.

Well spotted! That's a superb giffer touch. I don't think I've ever seen that done before. 11/10

The rear arches look like something we made out of papier mache in infants’ school but otherwise this looks quite appealing.98BF5331-F850-492D-B219-59CF90634C04.thumb.jpeg.a45b67d95c830c309ae33a38082c7ab6.jpeg

1.8GL for maximum unflappable, unpretentious British middle classness circa 1989.

What’s the equivalent now? A black 320d M Sport on 21” ninja throwing alloys? God help us.

'just aesthetic rust'  aesthetic = beauty or the appreciation of beauty .

So rust is beautiful then?
