You know. I didn't have to buy an Invacar if I wanted small and almost unusable and quirky :-)

to be fair, your invacar probably has more power then that

(and that will be the only time thats ever said about a Villiers powered invalid carriage LOL)

I can see those sans permis cars going the same way invacars are going within the microcar world

because from what I understand like invacars, those sans permis cars where/are shunned by a lot of microcar people, but the moment they get scarce/hip, I bet you there going to be all over them :)

Remember my mum having one of these, it was 6 months old when she got it and traded it in against another fester with the rear wiper and spoiler holes already bubbling up. Tried tempting her with this a few weeks ago when it was last on the bay :-)

Cheap Senator anyone?

Even with the rust this is cheap, no MOT doesnt help though.

Never mind all that. Has the father in law done no work on his car recently??

Nope sadly he is having to spend his 'mods' money on sorting the stretched timing chain at the moment.

Gutted. In a sea of competent people boasting about doing things to cars he is genuinely brilliant! Long may it continue

Meanwhile, another cheap W220 S500 in a very odd shade of yellow. I wonder if it came from factory like this:

EDIT: Apparently it did! Strange considering this is an otherwise basic S500.

Almost certainly clocked. Probably leased at 5000 miles a year, did 15k a year and was never serviced. Handed back having been valetted for 3 days and given a set of part works with the right date code off a write off.

Or bought for a 17 year old to learn to drive in, but who was so shit with her instructor that mum and dad were not ready to give her practice.

I say her because stereotypes....soz.
