The terms don't seem unduly harsh. Preston Marine Services appear to have had the thing kicking around since it was 'finished' (in all senses of the word) in 2007 and ask that having paid your pound you remove it in its entirety.

That repair looks straight out of the 1970 AA Book of The Car, the book where they tell you how to make a new sill and then go through the MoT test for roadworthiness on the next page.

 

I've got that book. Scary stuff. 'build your sills with chicken wire and wob'

Zinc rich wob no less. I just find the book very interesting, especially at their enthusiasm for the Maxi and how it was a good formula for the 70s. It's taught me some good things too, like how to punch out your broken windscreen and pull to the side of the road.

The bottom of my panda's doors were gob and chicken wire.

Artfully sprayed in Fiat 210 Bianco white.

 

How I still know the Paint code after 20 years I've fucking no idea.

Would be in my driveway now if I had space. £100 Nexia with 20k miles needing an alternator.

 

Looks like it would've been a demo car, looking at the "velvety" seats and the square older-style mirrors on a P-reg model.
