"USABLE CLASSIC"

Great! What's the MoT measured in? Minutes or seconds?

Poorly titled combi / dayvan ford escort thing on eBay called an RS Turbo for some reason

Strangest title spamming Ive seen in a while.

This looks really clean and nice.  Probably losing money with this title rather than attracting buyers.  Not going to convince the average RS Turbo buyer that they really want one of these very easily

There's a reason nobody's heard of the Swedish army

'Swedish Army Radio Van'

Imagine having to sit in the pile of old bollocks listening to the cold war in minus degree temperatures whilst your mates are all in a sauna with three really fit blonde birds in yellow bikinis?

Have we had this yet?  Presumably the same engine as a Green Goddess?

These used Rolls Royce engines, the Bedford Green Goddess used Bedfords own straight six.

Dolomite Sprint in a party frock or a Rio.  Not by Kia though. This is by Panther and it is very nice indeed.

I am trying to make light of the fact that I cannot afford it.  If I could I would without hesitation.  Its a magnificent thing.

Very mini-Silver Shadow. Launched at what turned out to be pretty much the wrong time, but fascinating blend of money-no-object coachwork and economy.

Was surprised to read that they managed to sell as many as 38, so some people clearly wanted one.

£400 petrol manual 405 estate with 12 months MOT

40665415_1401299273333499_27972573144977

He dropped the price on this to 300 quid on Saturday if you read the comments. I'm really surprised it hasn't sold already tbh. I'd buy it myself but I've nowhere to mothball the SRDT without incurring charges, a cheap estate would make far more sense for me at the mo.

Ahem, and I quote from the ad:

"Wanna sell meth in the UK? Or just ride around town with a fat black prostitute? Then listen up"

uh huh. You have my attention.

s-l1600.jpg

Was/Is this Bramz one? The one he got shot of because it was variously broken? The ad does say it recently dwelled in Blazingstoke, surely there can't be many formerly-owned-by-basingstoke-resident-oldsmobile-cutlass-for-sale-suspiciously-cheaply-on-ebay at any given moment?

"temp gauge doesn't work"

"engine doesn't get hot at all"

"I'm 6'1 and can easily fit in the boot"

Yeah that's my old one. I still have the V5 too, and I put it on SORN.

I thought the guy who bought it was going to banger it....

I knocked a shit ton of rot out of the front wings of that POS.

So the seatbelt mounting points are built into the door? Can you open the door with the seatbelt still done up? Is it impossible to fail the MOT on corrosion on the sills as a result of this?

2.9 with tweed. Misery.

Just needs a manual box for full shite spec.

The private plate is the usual Publican Norn Iron £99 Regtransfers horror show indicating that the '40 has in the past been owned by a peasant. Probably called 'Mal' or something like that.

And yet and yet it is an early 40 with not too many miles, clean looking, some 'poverty spec' charm and for sale in the Midlands not far from its birthplace. With the demolition of  the Browns Lane factory these era cars may be considered worth collecting? Put the nasty plate on retention and flog it...put the original reg back on, research the history - might be of interest.

Reminds me of a bigger version of the Hyundai S-coupe.

Never thought I'd say this, but I find this better looking than the X300.
