I looked at the MOT of it when it showed up on ebay, its a total rot-box worth its weight in scrap max.

Nice one Wuvvmington, I ended up with this. I'd asked if they'd take £120 and they said yes (last night) but I was out on the razz and they couldn't end it this morning so I bid and scored it for £102! It's about 250 yards tops from my house.

 

Cheers once again.

Just had a proper look at the listing for this and realised it's not a 3HM at all - it's the less interesting (but objectively far more desirable) 16 valve 4-pot - it's the more powerful 102bhp one too.  Baz formerly of this parish had a Getz with that motor and it went like f*ck.  Better on diesel than the 3-pot as well.
