Here is what appears to have been a '65 Thunderbird for sale in the Manchester area.  If Junkman does not buy this I will be extremely disappointed.

Phwooorrr... rare and massively appealing. A Renault 25 with extra 1980s sci-fi spank on the outside and a sticky brown velour sex dungeon on the inside.

 

It's only $2700 on the dealer's website. Bargain.

Who said owt about banger racing?  MOT exempt next May innit - just park it up for a few months in the space where the LTD used to be, then sling the engine back together and take to the roads of the sunny North West for a happy summer of '60s Yank motoring.
